OctoMom and Mom brawl on tape Part II
In Part II of Radaronline.com’s video of OctoMom Nadya Suleman and Mom Angela’s spat, Angela accuses Nadya of lying about previous pregnancies, saying, “I have a tumor.”

In this video, Nadya’s mother aggravates me more than Nadya, the opposite reaction I had to video I. It comes clearer Nadya isn’t the only one with issues. Angela disparages Nadya’s every thought and idea with a skeptical look.
Not to say Nadya’s thoughts aren’t undeserving of skeptism, but Mom gives not one shred of support or encouragement. I’m guessing this is a lifelong family dynamic. And a mother shouldn’t publicly accuse her child of having psychological problems like OCD.

I have to disagree on this one. Nadya is really completely clueless as to how much time, energy & money it is really going to take to do this. She speaks of writing, finishing her degree and taking care of all 14 children at the same time. She listens to NO one, is dismissive and condescending to her mother-the one taking care of her 1st 6 children for her. What I see in Nadya’s mother is an EXHAUSTED and desperate woman, who has tried every way she knows how to get help and be help for her daughter! By asking for psychological help for her daughter on air-she is making a public cry for that help, as everything she has done in the past has not worked. CLEARLY Nadya needs help psychologically as well as physically in caring for all her children. Each one of those children is a precious jewel to God, and they deserve life! But Nadya has gone about giving them life in the most irresponsible way possible. Not only by risking their lives, but her own, as mother to 6 already existing children. Who did she think would mother them, care for them, if she died? She’s more about seeking the limelight, and fulfilling her OWN needs, than the needs of her children-not to mention her own mothers. I agree, all 14 are now here, and I DON’T believe in selective reduction. But she needs help-more than financial and physical. I really question her mental stability, and her ability to do what she says she’s going to do. These children were deserving of life, but they are also deserving a stable mother (not to mention father!), and a stable homelife. None of us have the answers to this-only God can see what needs to be, and should be done. Pray for HIS will in this.

What Nadya has not gotten YET is that this has never been, nor should NEVER have been ABOUT HER! She FORCED the conception of 14 children that she has NO CLUE how to provide for. Does she expect food, clothing and shelter to drop out of the air! I have two and I am married AND I DON’T have the time to write a book and finish a degree…I am TOO BUSY providing for my children. You don’t go and FORCE 14 lives into being and then say”Hmm, I have no money or way to care for these children…what shall I do? Oh yeah, I will also FORCE my parents to take care of them until they are exhausted and bankrupt.
I am NEVER for murdering babies and I wouldn’t want to leave frozen babies either…but this is INSANE! This is all about what “she wants” it doesn’t matter what it costs anyone else.
This women IS sick and frankly, I am not convinced that she DIDN’T do the last eight for a book deal/reality show. I guess time will tell.
There is a BIG difference here Jill between Mrs. Duggar who has 18 and she and her husband DEDICATE their lives to the childre GOD HAS GIVEN them and this woman who decided that she just wanted them and lives in some sick fantasy world as far as providing for them. Who in their RIGHT MIND says….”Oh, I have no husband, no job, no income and my last school loan ran out…but I am going to go impregnate myself again?”
It is the height of selfishness!
And I feel sick and sorry for those poor babies!
As for her Mother’s reaction…I mean, how HORRIFYING would this be if this was your child and you were her Mother? I mean, your UNWED daughter continues to ARTIFICIALLY IMPREGNATE herself OVER AND OVER AGAIN while simply foisting the children off on you. This is beyond humiliating for the Mother and self centered to the point of INSANITY for the daughter.

I can’t even imagine how she is going to swing the round the clock feedings for the babes and keep that up with no sleep for months…..I am praying a church group volunteers their time to help.
Carla, I don’t see how she is going to manage either. It doesn’t sound like she was even.. how did she put it?… “doing the very best I can and giving them everything I can” for her first six kids. Unfortunately I think this needs more than volunteers from the church. I think it needs children’s services to come in and keep a watchful eye, help iif they can and intercede if they can’t. I hate to see a mother lose her children, but worse, I hate to see an unfit mother badly raise her kids, And 14 kids (eight of them babies) would require quite a mother. It’s just a bad situation.
I read the McCaughey(sp?)family story and they had round the clock help for MONTHS. Always people in the house with bottles of formula and diapers everywhere and loving up the babies.
I guess I haven’t heard if she thinks she can tackle it all by herself?? Sleep deprivation is hard enough with one infant. :) Reality is going hit hard if she doesn’t get some support.

You could not have said it better! The last thing this mother was thinking of was the precious babies. She seems to think money and all the help in the world will just show up at her doorstep.
And what about the doctor who went along with it? His licence should be revoked.
The fact is she can’t possibly care for 8 infants some of which are likely to have health challeges due to their small birth weight. In addition to the eight babies there are 6 other kids and I think the oldest is about 6 or so.

I get exhausted with my six and working and providing for them and I have help (named “Daddy”!… or in the three year old’s case, “Daddydaddydaddydaddydaddydaddydaddydaddy!”)
This is a very naive, possibly learning disabled or emotionally stunted person and I agree that social services needs to be keeping a close eye on these children’s growth and development.
I pray that the children and the mother get the true help that they need… not just handouts. That may very possibly entail finding appropriate medical foster parents and a great deal of counseling for Ms. Suleman.
I agree. This is the furthest thing from the Duggars ethics of living debt free and avoiding government handouts. (Do they get money for promoting their family? Sure they do. It’s called taking advantage of an opportunity and more power to them… )

Where was this woman getting the money for cosmetic surgery when she just had the first 6 kids? No husband, no job, 6 kids, living with her parents and yet she gets cosmetic surgery.

I feel a mixture of pity and disgust for this woman. She was being selfish, plain and simple. Frankly, I feel she is using her babies to help herself – to get donations, book deals, interviews, reality shows – anything so that she can do nothing but sit there and get money by using her children instead of getting a job and actually working for it. As I understand, she doesn’t even take care of her children – her mother does! And where the heck is she getting money for cosmetic surgery when she had 6 children (now 14) to raise?

Here’s the solution: Have the idiot Doctor who allowed this pay Ms. Suleman her 1 million (or more, I doubt 1 million would be enough to raise 14 kids to adulthood). Ms. Suleman will get her way and her kids (may) get a somewhat decent upbringing; but the zinger is: legal precendent will be set to scare any future fertility Doctors from ever doing something so stupid ever again!
After a huge legal judgement, good luck to any other single woman foolish enough to think they can hit paydirt by having multiple litters of children; no Dr. will be willing to cooperate.
Ms. Suleman, the difference (one of them) between you and Angelina is: she has more money than she knows what to do with, it’s coming out the kazoo – AND she has a husband who also has much more money than he’ll ever be able to spend. NEWSFLASH: You DON’T have these things. They could make a difference…
I sympathize with the Grandmother who is plainly (and rightly) at her wits end.
Janet, one million dollars likely wouldn’t provide the solution. Money isn’t all that needed here. Even if she did spend it on her kids instead of herslf, it doesn’t mean they’d get a “decent upbringing”.
