Fiorina ready to take on the Left over abortion

Womens Conferenceby Carder

I am pro-life by virtue of faith and experience and now science. And I am tired of being scared away from this topic by leftist women.

And I think they try to scare us away from this topic… it’s hard to argue that abortion for any reason at all after five months is okay when we have been conducting in utero surgery on unborn children as young as four months for a very long time.

… And so I think we need to just keep pressing this topic and not be afraid to bring it up because the left really wants to shut this conversation down.

Mouse dung once part of an ancient abortion suppository

dv1637066by Carder

The famous Greek doctor Hippocrates, or texts attributed to him, recorded a lot of abortifacients — and, interestingly, his books also reveal that the Greeks had figured out the connection between copper and contraception that we still use today in copper IUDs. But one recipe stands out: It calls for mouse dung, honey, Egyptian salt, wild colocynth, and resin to be made into a suppository and put into the uterus.

Septic abortion strikes again: the possibility for infection just skyrockets.

Limbaugh: Republicans aren’t the ones pushing abortion issue

orwellian-ideasby Kelli

The problem that I have with this is it’s not the Republicans that are pushing social issues. The Republicans are defending them, for crying out loud! The left is who’s pushing social issues, and nobody ever complains about ’em doing so. The Democrat Party is the biggest purveyor of social issues. The Democrat Party is the biggest promoter of social issues. The Democrat Party’s agenda demands movement on social issues! This idea that the Republicans are pushing social issues is absurd.

Now, I know what it really means. What it really means when some Wall Street-New York liberal Republican starts complaining about social issues, he’s talking about abortion. It’s a single issue, and they’re tired of it, and they think that the Republican Party can’t win if that becomes an important campaign issue. The reason they think that is because the left has been so successful in corrupting the culture, folks.

I mean, there are a lot of people who are very aware that America as they’ve known it – our society, culture, whatever you want to call it – is undergoing massive transformation, and not for the good, not for the betterment. And they don’t know specifically why, and they certainly don’t know how to stop it. But yet when Republicans start talking about abortion, if they do, then they think the Republicans are the problem….

Free expression is the enemy of the left. The First Amendment, free expression is the enemy of all of these leftist groups try to transform the culture. While they try to tell you that they are the epitome of liberation, they are the epitome of freedom, they are the epitome of free this and free that, it’s the exact opposite.

They are oppressors.

Pro-abort blackmail: Give me $1 million or I’m having an abortion

1milby Carder

I am a twenty-six-year-old female and I am currently 7 weeks pregnant. I have every intention of having an abortion, but I’m giving you a chance to stop it….

On July 7th I will start accepting donations on this page. I will accept donations for 72 hours, the same amount of time this state currently requires a woman to wait after a consultation with a doctor until she can have an abortion. If one million dollars is raised in those 72 hours then I’ll have the baby, give it up for adoption and every cent of that one million dollars will be put in a trust fund for the child, which he or she will have access to when they turn 21….

I will do my best to remain anonymous in this process as what I aim to prove has nothing to do with me personally. I hope to give the American public a concrete example that the conservative right in America doesn’t actually care about the life of a child, they care about controlling the lives and choices of women.

We have to acknowledge this and we have to stop it.

Bruce Jenner wanted ex-wife to abort daughter

Casey Jennerby Carder

Bruce Jenner wanted his first wife to get an abortion when she found out she was pregnant during the middle of their divorce in the late 1970s, his daughter said.

In the same interview where Jenner made his debut as “Caitlyn,” Casey Jenner (pictured) told Vanity Fair the story of her birth.

Jenner married Chrystie Crownover in 1972, and the two had a son, Burt. They found out she was pregnant with Casey halfway through their divorce, and Casey said her mom told her that Bruce first suggested getting an abortion but “rejected it after 30 seconds.”…

But Chrystie once said the plan for the abortion went a lot further than just “30 seconds.” In a 1981 interview with People magazine, she said she came close to going through with the abortion simply because Bruce wanted it, even going as far as to pay for it.

Yet another catholic charity working with a pro-abortion organization

by Carder

caritasThis is a very serious problem. Given how intimately connected the World Social Forum has been with the promotion of communism, abortion, and homosexuality since the very beginning, it’s impossible to see how any Catholic can participate in it, or even speak positively about it, let alone have any involvement in its governance.

But Caritas Internationalis does!

Pro-life blog buzz 5-29-15

pro-lifeby Susie Allen, host of the blog, Pro-Life in TN

  • Over at National Review, Dr. Michael New explains why it is too early for social liberals to be doing a victory dance over a new Gallup poll showing those reporting to be liberal equal to social conservatives:

Last year, social conservatives outpolled social liberals by a 34-30 margin. This year, it was a 31-31 split. This represents a relatively small change that could have been caused by a slight bias in the sample.

While the effects of an onslaught of  positive media attention to same sex marriage, seems to have successful in moving  public opinion to  the liberal category, that does not appear to be the case  with the life issues.

Opposition to abortion and pornography has held relatively constant, and a smaller percentage of Americans now find physician-assisted suicide morally acceptable.

  • Secular Pro Life commends an Australian mother who fought to obtain a birth certificate for her stillborn child lost in the second trimester. Her campaign was discussed in this Perth Now article, which actually showed a picture of her deceased child, named Blake.  Imagine American outlets showing this.
  • Pro Life 365 has a thought -provoking post listing “11 ways the sexual revolution enslaved women,” including the introduction of contraception, rejecting motherhood, and seeing children as commodities for adult gratification.
  • A Pro Life Blogs post discusses documents obtained that show the true state of affairs for Ohio abortion facilities.  It’s a safe bet that Ohio is not an anomaly:

Operation Rescue has released a new special investigative report detailing deteriorating conditions and horrific injuries at Ohio’s eight remaining abortion facilities.

The report is based on secret records from the Ohio Department of Health that have never before been made public, that show that at least 47 abortion-related medical emergencies or complications took place at the eight abortion clinics since 2011, including the abortion-related death of a 22-year-old African-American woman named Lakisha Wilson.

The documents also detail an alarming laundry list of life-threatening safety hazards at those same abortion facilities.

Pro-choicer on CA law: Don’t make pregnancy centers refer for abortion

nolanbrownby Kelli

To be clear, some crisis pregnancy centers can be shady. They have been known to misleadingly portray themselves as full-service women’s health clinics, or to obscure religious affiliations. They may offer discredited info on things like “the link between abortion and depression,” or engage in what some describe as bullying or pressuring women into carrying pregnancies to term.

But the state really shouldn’t be in the business of deciding what completely non-criminal information a private operation may make available. And many businesses and non-profits have owners with religious beliefs that they don’t necessarily broadcast. In other words, you may condemn these pregnancy centers’ tactics or views, but they’re not de facto doing anything illegal. What’s more, they may doing some good: Despite not offering contraception or abortion advice, the centers do offer things like free pregnancy tests, screenings for sexually transmitted infections, ultrasounds, and baby clothes.

If particular centers are engaging in deceptive or fraudulent practices, then by all means, go after them for that. But the point should be making them be honest about what they are, not trying to turn them into something they’re not.

~ Pro-choicer Elizabeth Nolan Brown (pictured), voicing her objections to California’s Reproductive FACT Act, which “would require pregnancy centers to post notices saying that reproductive health services, including abortion, are available to pregnant women in the state,” Reason.com, May 27
