Pro-life vid of day: Investigation of doc’s botched abortion nears

Shelley Sella, a New Mexico late-term abortionist (who is a former associate of Kansas abortionist George Tiller), has been accused by the New Mexico Medical Board of violating the standard of patient care and gross negligence for conducting the abortion of a 35 week preborn baby on a woman whose medical history included a previous C-section delivery. Sella currently works for Southwestern Women’s Options in Albuquerque, run by abortionist Curtis Boyd.
The Board claims Sella ignored the woman’s history (which should have disqualified her for an induction abortion method), and a uterine stimulant was used to increase the severity of the woman’s contractions until her uterus ruptured, and the abortion was not done in a hospital setting.

35 weeks. That baby was even OLDER than my daughter was when I had her!
I’ll never understand what makes a woman carry a baby that long- almost to term-
and THEN decide to kill the child. Breaks my heart. :(
35 weeks. A near full time baby. Perfectly formed and beautiful and waiting to be born.
Lord have mercy.
And the issue is that the killing of this 35 week baby should have been done in a hospital setting NOT an abortion mill.
Not whether we should stop killing babies.
My heart aches.
Praying for the conversion of heart and mind of all pro-aborts on the “abortion issue”.
It’s a baby, not a choice. Duh.
I was home from the hospital for over a week at that same age.
And they want to complain when we correctly call them “pro-aborts, pro-death, and the Dead Babies R Us crew because they promise to deliver to any woman who wants a dead baby will get one on demand anytime, any place, anywhere, for anyone, without any restrictions, even if the mother ends up dead as well. She just happens to be “collateral damage”.
My daughter was born at 36 weeks, barely older than this baby. And she was perfect and just as much a “real” baby as a completely full term birth.
I can’t imagine that anyone, pro-choice or pro-life, could just shrug off an abortion that late. It boggles my mind. I’m going to go hold my kids now.
Oh my goodness… This is horrible. :( It just breaks my heart that someone could so non-chalantly kill a baby, especially such a perfectly, beautiful formed baby.
It just makes me mad. I mean, come one, waiting another few weeks, max, won’t kill you. Ugh. :( I want to go… hold something. I wish I had a baby to hold.
That is just to horrible for words. How can anyone not see that any doctor that would kill a 35 week baby doesn’t care about people and won’t care any more for the mother’s health than they did the child’s. To call an abortionist a physician has always been an oxymoron to me.

Does anyone know if an autopsy was done on the baby? I can’t get these videos to load properly on my cell. I know I’ve read about 2 late term (30+ weeks) abortion botches this week and one of them made the point that an autopsy showed the baby was perfectly healthy. But I can’t remember if it was this one or the other one (which was about one several years ago). I’ve seen this in a couple of places and can’t specifically remember anywhere it mentioned *why* this abortion was being done so close to term.
My first was born at 35 weeks. Her tiny little face was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen.
I had the same reaction as the previous entries. My older son was born at home at 35 weeks with no complications whatsoever. He was as perfectly human as any other child.
Notice how it is the pro-life community that brings these actions. We are the ones standing up for women’s health. Obviously, shoddy abortionists are drawn to states with lax regulations and oversight.
I am a nursing student and could tell you without any research that that horrid abortion situation is like begging for the mother to die. Really?! I get it that Sella doesn’t give a rat’s patootie about anyone but herself – but just – wow. My brain hurts to think of the sheer evil and stupidity to put in motion these kinds of events.
Is anyone else bothered by the fact that this was a closed door meeting? What are they hiding? I, for one, would like to know what Sella has to say for herself. Will a transcript be released or just the board’s final decision? She surrendered her license in Kansas rather than face the same fate there. How many other times has she deviated from the standards of medical care? Notice the eerie silence from abortion supporters when one of their own gets caught harming women.
Joanne I agree with you. Do you hear crickets chirpping as the pro-aborts who regularly troll here keep silent. Like I said earlier they think this woman was “collateral damage’. No big deal, “just the price you have to pay for “safe and legal abortions. If it cost the woman her life “whatever”, it is worth it, we already know it always cost the baby his or her life. Wonder if this woman’s or Tonya Reeves got their “money back”? Just thought I’d ask, Do I hear more crickets chirping?
How do they kill the baby once it’s born? I’m not as educated about this as I should be, I assume that PBA was outlawed with Bush jr?
Are the doc’s allowed to just slit the baby’s throat, etc???

I just read that Dr Sella was investigated for possibly stabbing an infant to death that survived an abortion. Anyone know how that turned out.

Jamie Garcia, in late term abortions it’s also common to inject the baby’s heart with a lethal dose of drugs before labor begins so the baby is just born dead.
