  They hadn’t even bothered to clean the equipment between patients and I suddenly realized they had every intention of using the same filthy equipment on me.

• US News has an article on the “Catholics” for Obama group, which, as previously reported, phoned voters at home and was willing to blatantly lie about President Obama’s record and what Planned Parenthood does.

The Susan B. Anthony List “Women Speak Out: Abortion is NOT Health Care” bus tour made a stop in Fort Pierce, Florida, last week, where I met staff from Pregnancy Care Center, the resource center featured in the 2010 HBO documentary 12th & Delaware.

A couple weeks ago a lady struck up a conversation with me as I sat enjoying the weather at an outdoor cafe in Washington, D.C. Not long into it she wondered what I did for a living. I told her pro-life work, which always elicits interesting responses.

But this one was new. “So, are you one of those pro-life crazies?” she asked.

A bit taken aback I hesitated, then answered, “By the definition I expect you use, yes, I am. I believe in protesting and showing photos of aborted babies.”
