Could your hormonal contraceptive disable or kill you? (YES)

Emily Letts opposes hormonal birth control pillRemember Emily Letts, the woman who filmed her own abortion?

Letts was willing to engage in unprotected hook-up sex, and willing to submit to an abortion, but one thing even she considered too risky was the birth control pill, as she explained to Cosmopolitan:

Lisa’s story: Pregnancy, abortion, breast cancer, unending remorse

abc_blocks11

JLS Note: Not often have I read a post-abortion story that was filled with such compounded tragedy. The following is such a sad read. Thanks to Lisa for wanting to share, with the hope she can stop someone else from making the same mistake.

Guest post by Lisa

When I was 20 years old, I became pregnant and like many, I was scared and not sure what to do. I listened to family members who told me that I had my whole life ahead of me and that having the baby would “ruin” my life. One family member even told me that I would get big and fat, that nobody (including my boyfriend), would want to be with me and would go elsewhere.

I had an ultrasound at only 5 weeks along and could clearly see the heart beat on the ultrasound screen, as small as it was. I was touched by this and so was my mom (grandma), who witnessed it as well. However, as time went on, my anxiety, uncertainty, and indecisiveness grew.

Breaking: New bombshell analysis of 36 Chinese studies shows abortion increases breast cancer risk by 44%

breakingGuest post by Joel Brind, Ph.D.

“China is on the cusp of a breast cancer epidemic,” acknowledged a prestigious group of American epidemiologists in 2008 in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute.

Studiously avoiding the “A-word” the JNCI group blamed the emerging epidemic on “shifting reproductive trends” among “risk factors associated with economic development [that] are largely unavoidable.”

That’s because NCI still officially denies the reality of the abortion-breast cancer link.

But a new systematic review and meta-analysis of abortion and breast cancer in China was just published last week in the prestigious, peer-reviewed international cancer journal, Cancer Causes and Control, dealing the great wall of denial a serious blow.

Angelina Jolie has double mastectomy to lower cancer risk

My mother fought cancer for almost a decade and died at 56. She held out long enough to meet the first of her grandchildren and to hold them in her arms. But my other children will never have the chance to know her and experience how loving and gracious she was. We often speak of […]

Planned Parenthood’s new annual report: Abortions up, gov’t funding up

Planned Parenthood Federation of America has released it 2011-2012 annual report, and the numbers aren’t pretty.

The actual reporting period was October 2010 through September 2011. During this time Planned Parenthood murdered 333,964 babies.

Coincidentally, when I checked the census of U.S. cities to provide perspective, the one with the population closest to the number of babies PP killed is Aurora, Colorado, where a gunman massacred 12 people in a movie theater last July.

Aurora’s population is 332,354. In one year’s time Planned Parenthood massacred as many people as who live in this 56th most populated city in America.

This brings the total number of babies Planned Parenthood has killed since it began keeping records to almost 6 million: 5,983,022, to be exact – 2/3 of the population of New York City, and over two times the population of Chicago.

Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood received a record amount of tax dollars: $542.4 million, up from $538.5 mil in 2010-11 and $487.4 mil in 2009-2010. Forty-five percent – almost half of PP’s income – now comes from you and me. Click to enlarge….

Obama, media, feminists push taxpayer-funded mustard gas for women

I don’t know what it’s going to take to get people to comprehend that hormonal contraceptives – i.e., the birth control pill, implants, and rings – are rated by the United Nations World Health Organization as Group 1 Carcinogens,” as toxic and in the same class as asbestos, mustard gas, and tobacco.

IT IS A SCANDAL that President Obama, feminists, the media, and the medical establishment continue to push these virulent cancer causing artificial steroids on our women.

Not once in this October 4 puff piece promoting free contraceptives did the Associated Press author or any of the medical professionals interviewed bring up any of the deadly harms of hormonal contraceptives.
