by JivinJ, host of the blog, JivinJehoshaphat Ramesh Ponnuru and Margaret Carlson have a discussion about Kermit Gosnell and abortion. Carlson, to her credit, doesn’t play defense for the abortion industry: Margaret: Let me answer the question you raise: Yes, we have gone too far. Since we’re talking about what we wrote, during last year’s […]

Planned Parenthood’s latest attempt to mislead on performing mammograms

Robin Kelly was endorsed by Planned Parenthood Illinois Action because she knows that women don’t turn to politicians for advice about birth control, mammograms, or cancer screenings. ~ Carole Brite, pictured right, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood Illinois Action, using sleight of hand in a candidate endorsement to make it appear to the uninformed […]

Planned Parenthood’s new annual report: Abortions up, gov’t funding up

Planned Parenthood Federation of America has released it 2011-2012 annual report, and the numbers aren’t pretty.

The actual reporting period was October 2010 through September 2011. During this time Planned Parenthood murdered 333,964 babies.

Coincidentally, when I checked the census of U.S. cities to provide perspective, the one with the population closest to the number of babies PP killed is Aurora, Colorado, where a gunman massacred 12 people in a movie theater last July.

Aurora’s population is 332,354. In one year’s time Planned Parenthood massacred as many people as who live in this 56th most populated city in America.

This brings the total number of babies Planned Parenthood has killed since it began keeping records to almost 6 million: 5,983,022, to be exact – 2/3 of the population of New York City, and over two times the population of Chicago.

Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood received a record amount of tax dollars: $542.4 million, up from $538.5 mil in 2010-11 and $487.4 mil in 2009-2010. Forty-five percent – almost half of PP’s income – now comes from you and me. Click to enlarge….

Planned Parenthood CEO gets pushback on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe”

On May 30 Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards appeared on MSNBC’s Morning Joe to tout her group’s launch that day of an anti-Romney ad campaign.

This was the day after Live Action released its first investigative video of a new series, which exposed Planned Parenthood as a facilitator of sex-selection abortion.

The Live Action videos were not mentioned during the Morning Joe segment, so either they were ignored or Richards stipulated she would only come on if they weren’t brought up.

Nevertheless, (somewhat) conservative host Joe Scarborough got in several digs against the abortion giant.

  • The Texas Tribune is reporting on another Planned Parenthood affiliate merge. North Texas, Austin and Waco Planned Parenthoods are merging to become Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas:

Publicly, Planned Parenthood leaders say the merger, which has been under discussion since 2009, is about creating a leaner, more efficient organization, especially in the face of reductions in state and federal financing. Less brazenly, they suggest that joining forces is the best way to defend their branches from an onslaught of anti-abortion legislation — and to connect the fundraising powerhouses concentrated in North Texas with endangered clinics throughout the 58,000-square-mile region and beyond.

“For us, it’s a strategic merger, an opportunity to pull together three very strong operations into one,” said Cecile Richards, president of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, and the Waco-born daughter of the late Gov. Ann Richards. “It will help on the advocacy side and, more important, on the health care delivery side.”

by JivinJ, host of the blog, JivinJehoshaphat The Wall Street Journal on the tabling of the Blunt Amendment: Nancy Pelosi called it “devastating legislation” and “the latest ploy in the Republican agenda of disrespecting the health of American women.” Planned Parenthood claimed the “dangerous proposal” would have allowed “your boss” — yes, yours — to […]

Texas defies Obama: Defunds Planned Parenthood despite threats of Medicaid cut-off

Love Texas! Will President Obama choose Planned Parenthood over poor women in the Lone Star State? An old fashioned Western showdown looms. From The Texas Tribune, February 23: If there was any hope that the state was seeking a compromise with the federal government over Texas’ Women’s Health Program, it’s fading fast. At the direction […]

Planned Parenthood staffer falsely claims “Yes we do” provide mammograms

The American public was made aware of two previously hidden facts during the liberal assault last week against Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure for attempting to sever financial ties with Planned Parenthood: 1) that the two were even connected to begin with 2) that Planned Parenthood does not perform mammograms There have undoubtedly […]
