Planned Parenthood staffer falsely claims “Yes we do” provide mammograms
The American public was made aware of two previously hidden facts during the liberal assault last week against Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure for attempting to sever financial ties with Planned Parenthood:
1) that the two were even connected to begin with
2) that Planned Parenthood does not perform mammograms
There have undoubtedly been some Planned Parenthood employees who were shocked as heck to learn their own clinics do not perform mammograms.
Such as the chipper but ignorant staffer in the following video, just up on YouTube but taken on Planned Parenthood Lobby Day in Sacramento on May 3, 2011.
Note her t-shirt, more about…
CANCER
SCREENINGS
…than anything else. Yet she was never trained about what that included. I almost feel sorry for her. Fortunately, a grizzled Planned Parenthood exec stepped in to save the day…

I received a phone call from a group that I support the other day – the leader wanted to talk to me to assure me that they did affiliate one way or another with abortion – because they had posted on FB praising a local representative for telling off Komen…after my post telling them I would no longer support them, they took down their post about Komen and PP and contacted me to assure me they had no ties to abortion, no funds went to abortion, and though he was pro-“choice”, some of his board members were pro-life.
I thought this was very big of him – keep the program to it’s own topic and do not cross over into others. He realized he could lose support and didn’t want that.
However, during our conversation he tried to assure me that the reason they posted this was because they wanted to support women, that PP provided mammograms and cancer treatment…
I assured him that they most certainly did not and admitted so themselves…to which he effectively changed the topic by saying he didn’t want to get into the abortion issue, as that was not the cause of his group.
Long story short: If Planned Parenthood’s own workers have no idea what they provide – or are lying about it – how will anyone else know? And people are making mistakes in believing this lie, mistakes that are getting them caught up in arguments they don’t want to, in organizations that in no way reflect their own. We need to continue to debunk these lies and expose PP and other abortion mills for what they are!
I love the use of the term grizzled, It fits.
Why do the grizzled always seem so nervous? So skittish?
The constant looking around, the scratching, the eye rolling, the smirking as they say “health care services.”
Be CONFIDENT in your promotion of death!!!
lol, Carla. I agree. Why do they always look so hesitant and then hastily throw in “health care services.”
I love the woman who took this video. Way to call them on it! I imagine the woman taking the video could have asked the girl:
“Does PP have birth centers where they offer free prenatal care and free birthing services to women who CHOOSE to have their babies?”
And she would have beamed “Yes we do.” How do you volunteer for an organization that you have NO CLUE what they actually do?
I think PP should present themselves as the Jiffy Lube of the abortion industry. Yes, we also vacuum your carpet and fill up your windshield fluids and put a sticker on your windshield to remind you when to return for your next lube job but our core business is changing your oil for profit.
Planned Parenthood…yes we might give you a free pap smear and condoms (not really free because your tax $$ pays for this) but that is to get you to think of us first when our non judgmental if it feels good do it philosophy brings on a pregnancy…we can do a quickie abortion and send you back out in no time. Abortion is our core business…We are the Jiffy Lube in the world of abortion.

Sorry, not buying the clueless employees act. Feminists excel at playing the dumb victim when it suits the argument of the moment.
Also, I’m getting sick and tired of their “where will people go for healthcare” b.s.-how many of you take your kid to PP when he/she has a cold? Go there to get your diabetes or high blood pressure checked? Your prostate? How stupid do they think people are? Who’d go to a so-called clinic for women’s health for prenatal care if they don’t even know what services they provide (or aren’t willing to admit to them). SMH. If you’re trusing Planned Parenthood to ‘plan’ anything other than your baby’s death, you might be a liberal.
Poor, cute, misguided little PP volunteer — She just wants to help women.
That’s how Abby Johnson got seduced into volunteering for Planned Parenthood. “We help women. Help us to help other women.”
If you asked the cute, young volunteer about any good care that poor women need — prenatal care, childcare counselling, welfare advocacy, mammograms, newborn support, abuse shelter, education assistance, pediatric care – she would have answered, “Yes! We help women!”
LOL, Del. “We’re liek totally clueless about who/what we’re repping for, but at least we look cute in our t-shirts!”. Funny how fast they got snotty when called on it, I could see the hackles rise immediately, especially in the older woman, who went into evil anti smackdown mode almost immediately. Doesn’t take much for theirs masks to slip.
All over the blogosphere Liberals are in defense mode….”abortions only account for 3% of Planned Parenthood’s business.” If abortions were more than 3% of Planned Parenthood’s business then would it be a bad organization???
I really feel badly for that young woman. Forgive me, but I think it is wrong to think poorly of her. I can see my own daughters and god-daughters in her. I would bet $10,000 (like that subtle Romney reference?? – sorry, I just could not help myself) that she truly believes she is doing a good thing. And she has been deceived just like so many others. The older woman that jumps in at the end knows what is up. And she is complicit in the deception of that young woman. So I do not have much pity for her. But for the young girl, I do. I just pray that my children are learning enough to spot the deception at PP and elsewhere in the world because there sure is a lot of it. And that they trust me enough to ask when they are skeptical. I also pray for opportunities to show other young people the Truth before it is too late.
It was painful to watch the young lady try to answer the question, but this is Planned Parenthood. It’s not like she’s hocking baked goods at the community fundraiser. When you volunteer for an organization as volatile as PP, you better know what they provide and don’t.
I don’t feel sorry for her. If pregnancy centers were caught telling whoppers like these, well, you can imagine the moonbat reaction. Time for proaborts to start owning their own double standard and dishonesty.
I thought of a parallel for the 3% argument over the weekend.
I own a new car dealership. In a typical month, I change 200 quarts of oil and 50 oil filters, I perform diagnostics on 35 vehicles, I sell 28 new tires, I provide 18 key copies, I use 245 various parts to perform repairs, I change 12 air filters and 32 spark plugs and I charge people “shop charges” for the 437 shop rags that I use in my service department. I also sell 10 new cars. The total of all the repair and other services is $30,000. The total sales of new cars is $270,000. As a percent of the “items” and “services” that I provide, new car sales represent less than 1% of my business.
What is my primary business?
Brilliant analogy, Bryan. PP does over 300,000 abortions per year at $300-$950 each for 1st trimester. Big business indeed.

Love it Bryan….good comment. Feeling so sarcastic today I had to post more about Jiffy Lube. My apologies to Jiffy…

If you go to plannedparenthood.org and plug in your ZIP code you will find the centers in your area. I live in Houston, the 4th largest city in the US (and home to the world’s largest PP abortion clinic.) We have 10 facilities within my ZIP code. NONE of them in Houston provide mammograms, only referrals.
Are you suggesting that PP would LIE? Well, if they will kill babied lying must come rather easy.
I’ve have spent a lot of energy trying to show pro-choice people the truth regarding abortion. But, I almost wonder if my energy needs to shift a bit. The more I argue with pro-choice people, the more fuel is thrown on the flames that this is a “war agaist women”. I know we definitely need to stay engaged with pro-abortion people. However, if more people in our county are pro-life than pro-choice, then we have to mobilize those that are pro-life but currenlty inactive. How many people have heard that “I’m pro-life, but I don’t want to push my morality on anyone else.” Yet people have no problem condemning animal abuse, child abuse, and bullying.
It is good for the young women to be challenged, embarrassed, and have a generally uncomfortable overall experience while doing something bad. Then the next time PP calls, they will just say they are busy and won’t sit there for free. What concerns me is that schools require community service of young people and this kind of crap fills that requirement.
The pro-lifer holding the camera isn’t a very good interrogator. When you’re drilling for information like this, you need to know the story you’re telling and stick to it. The pro-lifer gave away the fact that she knew darned well before she asked the PP girl that PP doesn’t do mammograms. PP should be afraid of regular women, not just informed pro-lifers, coming up and calling them on their B.S.
