  • Clinic Quotes shares something that might make your blood boil:

In one year alone, the Los Angeles Planned Parenthood clergy consultation service received $250,000 in kickbacks from clinics to which they referred women for abortions.

Planned Parenthood and their current Clergy Advisory Board has celebrated the 40th anniversary of the CCS and states that they are proud to continue defending abortion in the spirit of the CCS.

  • At Life Training Institute, Jay Watts addresses the pro-choice argument of using abortion as a means of “self defense.”

Stanek weekend question II: Why do abortion proponents get so angry?

The mind of the abortion supporter is complex. As I wrote in my previous post, on the one hand they want to make light of abortion, as if it is no more grave than an ingrown toenail.

And on the other hand abortion proponents cannot stand viewing pro-life messaging or the reality of abortion.

This week I was forwarded photos of pro-abortion vandalism in two different states.

The photo on the right was taken in front of the office of Nebraskans United for Life, in Omaha. NUFL’s signs were defaced on two separate occasions. They’re now hard to read, but certainly not “HATE”ful: “Protect the Unborn, Defend Marriage, Safeguard Religious Liberty,” and “Religious Liberty, The Soul of Democracy.”

Yet this is the world in which we now live, when some people think “Xtians [should] get out.”

Meanwhile, at an event featuring VP Joe Biden, a supporter stuck out in the cold waiting for two hours for him to show up apparently decided to vent her frustration on pro-life activists who were also on hand to remind the crowd what exactly the support in †the Obama/Biden ticket.

Oddly having a ready can of spray paint, the woman walked over and blacked over the pro-life messaging on two signs leaning against cars.

  • Culture Campaign reports on a new study from Yale University and City University of New York, which “shows that if the Republican Party abortion platform came to fruition and states could outlaw abortion, not only would the national abortion rate drop, but the rate among non-white Americans would drop the most.”

Some point to this and claim racism on the part of Republicans… but really, doesn’t this just prove the pro-life point that abortion is used as a eugenic weapon and disproportionately takes the lives of minorities?

  • University of MI Students for Life reflects on a sad day in America on August 1, when the HHS mandate went into effect mandating violating our consciences:

Today, the religious liberties of all Americans have been thrown in the trash. And it’s the same trash can where the 3,300 precious babies that will be legally aborted today will be thrown.

President Obama doubling down on contraception mandate

Yeah. Well itís absolutely true that religious liberty is critical… thatís the reason why we exempted churches, we exempted religious institutions. But we did say that big Catholic hospitals or universities who employ a lot of non-Catholics, and who receive a lot of federal money, that for them to be in a position to say […]

  • Live Action reports on the temporary injunction that has been issued, keeping Mississippi’s last remaining abortion mill open:

The law requires that abortion doctors be licensed OB/GYNís with admitting privileges to local hospitals. In Mississippi there is only one abortion clinic, and it did not conform to the law at the time it was passed. But three months after the legislation was passed, the clinic still does not comply with the new requirements.

The judge granted the injunction to continue abortions without complying with the law while the constitutionality of the law is adjudicated.
