Today our favorite Dr. Killdare provides fishing tips. Before now, who knew aborted fetuses were good for more than human experimentation?

That was cruel, Jill. :)
This man is absolutely disgusting, please excuse me while I go throw up my vital organs. Someone please stop him. This is going to far, seriously.
Leah, you’re an abortion supporter. What’s so cruel? What’s going too far?
Aha! Incorrect! I am not an abortion supporter. I am a supporter of the RIGHT to an abortion. I wish abortions were unnecessary.
You were cruel for taunting Cameron, but that comment was all in good fun.
Come on, Jill. Fetuses … as fishing bait. Disgusting. Do I really need to spell it any clearer? You watched the video, yes?
Oh my dear Leah (and I mean “dear” sincerely), why do you support the right but not the act of abortion? Why do you wish they were unncecessary? And an abortion supporter should consider fetuses as fish bait no more disgusting than worms.
Hmm … being called “dear” makes me smile.
Unfortunately, my debate skills are lacking at the moment due to a number of preoccupations and other such stuff (for lack of a more graceful term), so excuse me if I seem a bit incoherent. Just know that I know what I believe in and I won’t be changing my mind any time soon–much like yourself.
That having been said …
Allow me to clarify–I neither support nor oppose the act of abortion … but I am not neutral. I am not “pro-abortion,” you see. Where neutrality would usually be, there is my belief in the right to an abortion–the right to that choice. (see? incoherent)
I wish that abortions were unnecessary because I find it sad that women find themselves in the situation where abortions are necessary. I wish that there was a flawless form of birth control. I wish that sex education was improved so that both women and men were perfectly aware of their contraceptive choices. I wish that people were responsible enough to USE contraception. I wish there was no rape, no incest, no conditions of the fetus that could endanger a mother’s health and life.
Would you find it disgusting if someone used a cut up dog as bait? I would. Frankly, I *do* find worms disgusting … and, in fact, pretty much everything about fishing, including the fish (can’t stand seafood except sushi and calamari … yumm). Whether I “should” find fetuses as bait no more disgusting as worms–that isn’t tha case. If you insist on fishing, at least don’t use fetal remains to trap the fish. Someone’s going to be eating that thing. Just not me.
leah, my question, “abortions are necessary” necessary for what?
Necessary for the woman. Your definition of necessary, les, and mine will be very different.
Sorry–I mean luv; not les
necessary for the woman… for what? to reach what goal? to survive?
My dear Leah, 1:30p, said: “Allow me to clarify–I neither support nor oppose the act of abortion … but I am not neutral. I am not ‘pro-abortion,’ you see. Where neutrality would usually be, there is my belief in the right to an abortion–the right to that choice. (see? incoherent)”
Agreed. Incoherent… :) You cannot say you’re neutral, i.e., on the fence, while simultaneously saying you’re not on the fence.
My dear Leah, 1:30p, also said: “I wish that there was a flawless form of birth control.”
There is. You just don’t like it.
Jill: I didn’t say I was neutral–I said I’m not.
Allow me to clarify–I flawless and realistic form of birth control.
luv: Necessary because she says it’s necessary.
