Quote of the Day 11-11-10
Like Cronkite in 1965, the media should have a discussion about abortion and call for laws that support women’s reproductive rights. In doing so, it should highlight stories of women that faced obstacles in accessing abortion care. The media should also discuss why women may elect or need to have an abortion, and the harmful consequences that anti-choice laws and rhetoric have on women and their medical care.
In this conversation, Cronkite’s report should serve as a reminder of the epidemic our country will likely face if Roe v. Wade is overturned.
~Lisa Pearlstein, RH Reality Check, November 8

epidemic of what? Life? …I can see it now…….
WARNING!!!! BE ON GUARD!! SAVE YOURSELVES!!!
Theres life out there and its real and it’s growing and every pregnant woman is a carrier!!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
Give me a break!
What are the stats again on how many babies get butchered each year?
There’s an epidemic for you.
Without the escape hatch of abortion, we would no doubt face an epidemic of responsibility and decency. We might see an outbreak of chastity. We might just see a decline in the ever-increasing rates of sexually transmitted diseases. We might even see and end to the days when women are sung of in rap as ‘bitches and ho’s’
Maybe.
In this conversation, Cronkite’s report should serve as a reminder of the epidemic our country will likely face if Roe v. Wade is overturned.
This is what makes so angry about the left, the assumption that pregnancy is a disease. It is NOT a disease, it is beautiful, wonderful, natural.
Haha Dr. Nadal that made me laugh… Exactly the image I got in mind. Can’t you just see the pro-aborts? “Ohhhh no!! People are actually having babies! People are waiting until marriage! People are… they’re … they’re doing the right thing! How can this have happened? We’re doomed.”
Hahahahahaha
For sure they won’t want to hear the voices of women and men that have been hurt by abortion!!
Interview those that have been forced against their wills or killed during their abortions…wait. Never mind! They died along with their child.
The voices of those that are silent no more are getting louder! The voices of those that were conceived in rape or gave birth when they conceived in rape are getting louder! Men are standing up and saying they regret their participation in abortion!
The truth of our experiences speak to their lies.
I’m praying that today’s young adults are not taken in by the lies and propaganda of the pro-abort media. What a waste of a good mind to use one’s life to promote abortion. Ms. Pearlstein would be more accurate calling us “anti-abortion” instead of “anti-choice”. I’m very much in favor of choice in many areas of my life; it’s the choice of abortion that I’m not willing to compromise on.
That’s what I was thinking, mama3. Epidemic of what….babies???? GADS! we wouldn’t want THAT, now would we?! Ironic that the blog is called “Reality Check”, because most of those people (pro-aborts) NEED one!
