Lunch Break: Couple with infant lost in corn maze
by LauraLoo
Connor’s Farms in Danvers, Massachusetts had some excitement around closing time when a family of 5 (one of them a 3-week-old infant) ended up lost in a corn maze and called 911 for help.

I hate those things. Got lost with my family too. Didn’t call 911 though. :)
I think maybe having such a young baby with them just made them panic :P well, glad they’re out ok!
i could get lost in a phone booth so no thanks. yeah this was on the news this am. glad they got out.
Maybe it’s just me but I’d be really embarassed to have to call 911 because I was so lost in a corn maze. I’m glad everyone made it out OK though.
I can understand her panic and embarrassment I have no desire to go in one of those things.
As a kid on the way home from school there was a huge trailer set up as “Casper’s Wonderland”. I wasn’t expecting much. Maybe some cartoon cut-outs. An ultra-cheapo Disneyland attraction.
It turned out to be a darkened maze with little nightlights on the floor here and there. It must have taken me ten panicky minutes. It might have been a quarter, but I still felt ripped-off!
Worse was this giant replica of a heart at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. I wasn’t exactly a small kid, so it was the one time I felt what claustrophobia was like. Oh no, also climbing that spiral staircase in the Statue of Liberty!
So, I can understand what this lady was going through. Especially since she knew it was past closing time. Shudder!
I don’t blame them. Who knows, one of the dreaded CHILDREN OF THE CORN might have been in there, MUHAHAHA!
Shouldn’t that be “corn maize”? ;)
LOL. Good one, Doug.
