A great line-up once again Jill!
We can all sleep better now that Obama has given Egypt 250 million and a bunch of fighter jets. As for the cancelled tours at the White House our school kids just have to get over it.
I think the first one is in poor taste.
Hi Jerry
I wonder how many WH tours could be reinstated if the Obamas would donate the money they are otherwise supposed to be spending on her 50th birthday bash. Somehow I suspect the taxpayer will help foot the bill despite their claims to the contrary.
Check out the Drudge Report.
Jerry, how can you possibly sleep knowing that the sequester cuts are happening?
Alexandra, I wouldn’t hold it against the cartoonist cause Chavez’ comment about Bush (the one that the cartoon is parodying).
The Kelley one with the bear is priceless.
As far as “not sleeping” TS, I’m all for cutting the budget 50-90% honestly, so 2% is nothing to me. Not that you were talking to me though :).
I wonder how Andrew Breitbart and Chavez are getting along now.
Jerry, let’s cut all federal aid to the Middle East, including the money we waste on Israel.
Hi Mary:
Yes, and the cost of the one-half mile motorcade to the dinner with the Republican senators probably could pay for months of White House tours. Maybe just limiting Michele to one vacation in a year like most families have, or cutting her staff in half could each fund White House tours for a year or so.
Truthseeker:
Good point….cancel the sleeping well comment! With the impending doom coming to us due to the sequester cuts I am a nervous wreck!! Never in history have we faced such horrors!
Merit:
I could go with that with one exception: If aid to the other countries from enemies of the U.S. and Israel would stop as well.
Hi Jerry,
I was ill reading how the Republican senators, including my own, were so schnookerd by Obama and his efforts to “reach out”. Apparently they never heard Don Corleone’s words of wisdom: Keep your friends close and your enemies closer:. They’re also unaware this “charm offensive” is a typical sociopathic ploy. I could not be more disgusted with these Republicans and their fawning, and intend to write my senator and tell him!
While we’re attacking the deficit, let’s cut the subsidies to the oil companies – no real reason why we need to further line their pockets.
Another thing Jerry,
This WH tours nonsense is just the kind of petulant behavior typical of Obama’s personality type, which is ”my way or hell to pay, period”. My experience in my lifetime with these people has included pouting and infantile behavior, horrendous emotional and verbal abuse, rage, physical abuse, threats, and efforts at complete control. Thankfully I haven’t experienced the more extreme of stalking or threats to my life, but that’s only because my high school boyfriend thankfully moved to another state. There’s nothing Obama does that surprises me because I know exactly what to expect from him, and so far he hasn’t proven me wrong.
Mary:
I don’t know which is more pathetic. With Obama we get what we expect which is bad enough. But then McCain and Lindsey stumble out from the Obama meeting acting like they were inebriated and assaulted their fellow Republican who actually was on the job working while these two were puffing themselves up with visions of shared power with the great one. To Johnny McCain and Lindsey Graham I have only this to say: I sincerely hope both of you are defeated soundly by conservatives next time around!
