On July 22 40 Days for Life will begin accepting
applications for the fall campaign, to run September 23 through November 1. National Director David Bereit expects this to be big, writing in an email alert…
[E]arly indications lead us to believe that this could be the largest 40 Days for Life campaign ever conducted. Hundreds of cities across America and around the globe have already expressed interest in participating – including many first-time locations.
What is 40D4L? From the website:
The most visible component of 40D4L is a constant prayer vigil outside a place where children are aborted. It is the hope that the vigil can be maintained 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

I love 40D4L. No one is asking me to promote it. No politics in the way; saving babies in your own neighborhood. After only 4 campaigns, 40D4L has documented saving over 1,500 babies, closing 3 abortion mills, and encouraging 18 mill workers to quit the industry.
The best endorsement comes from the abortion industry. Mills have a difficult time making it financially through 40 days of constant pro-life presence outside their doors. They now send out alerts warnings to their people that 40D4L is coming.

While I won’t be able to participate in this year’s 40 Days for Life for a number of reasons, I’m glad to hear last year’s peaceful prayer vigils and sidewalk counseling had such an heart-changing effect on so many and I look forward to hearing testimonies from this year’s 40DFL.

Thank you for the prayers…I usually pray ALL the mysteries + Divine Mercy Chaplet and that basically takes up my whole hour.
