“Would Planned Parenthood have aborted Jesus?”

by Carder Make no mistake, there are lots of Christians out there who are compassionate, who do take the need to be kind and loving to others to heart. Many of them, in fact, work in the world of reproductive justice. The Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice and Catholics for Choice are two very important groups that demonstrate that there […]

Marcotte: “Turnaways” study proves preborn only “potential” persons

It’s no doubt tempting for abortion opponents to cite the many stories of turnaway mothers [women denied abortions] who grew to embrace motherhood as a way to make their case for banning abortion. But bluntly put, what other option do these women have? Women who want abortions are not heartless or somehow incapable of forming […]

  • In First Things, Clarke Forsythe discusses how the Supreme Court helped create abortionists like Kermit Gosnell:

Because the Justices foolishly believed that abortion had few risks, and that abortion providers should have complete discretion to decide how to perform abortions in the first trimester, the Justices said that state and local officials could not regulate them in the first trimester. The Justices prohibited state health and safety regulations for abortion clinics in the first trimester of pregnancy when 90 percent of abortions are performed.

Former tennis champion Jimmy Connors is taking heat for outing the abortion of his 70s girlfriend and tennis champion Chris Evert in his new autobiography, The Outsider.

From a May 20 Slate article by abortion proponent Amanda Marcotte entitled, “Jimmy Connors is woefully out of line on Chris Evert’s abortion”:

Carhart’s so-called late-term abortion “fact” sheet

2013 Sundance Portrait - After TillerIn July 2012 an abortion-minded mother who was 27 weeks pregnant changed her mind and gave sidewalk counselors praying and offering help outside LeRoy Carhart’s (pictured right) Germantown, Maryland, abortion clinic all the paperwork he had given her.

The paperwork included “Facts about Induction Procedure (22 weeks and up).”

Abortion proponents oppose any attempts by legislatures to ensure abortionists provide informed consent. For instance, Guttmacher Institute thinks the needs of pregnant mothers are too “complex” to address in a written document:

Angry feminist rails against true meaning of Christmas

Frankly, if you want to instill more relevant modern values into your children, you’d be better off sticking with the Dickens tale, which emphasizes the importance of love and generosity. The story of Christ’s birth, on the other hand, is about how virgins are better than non-virgins, with a side dose of arguing that babies […]

  • Secular Pro-Life responds to the charge from abortion defender Amanda Marcotte that informed consent laws assume “women are too stupid to understand abortion” and are misogynistic:

Informed consent laws do not operate on the assumption that women are stupid. They do, however, assume that abortion facilities cannot be trusted to provide full and accurate information in the absence of legislation. I’m perfectly fine with that assumption.

Planned Parenthood abortion centers have been caught on tape distributing incredible lies about prenatal development; one counselor even went so far as to claim that an eight-week-old fetus has “no arms, no legs, no heart, no head, no brain.”

In short, women aren’t too stupid to understand abortion – but abortion facilities are too greedy to explain it properly.

by JivinJ, host of the blog, JivinJehoshaphat The Northern Illinois Women’s Center abortion clinic in Rockford will be closed permanently. This is after the clinic had done a variety of tasks required to meet health regulations including plans to hire an abortionist with surgical privileges at an in-state hospital: According to an email sent to […]
