“Incredible acceleration… whole new level of attack… designed to gut Roe”

Even though in my post, “Pro-life March Madness: “Sweeping… hurtling… astonishing display,” I wrote about the vast array of pro-life legislation passing in the states, I was still struck when reading through my google alerts over the weekend just how much we are suddenly accomplishing, as if a log jam has been broken. Here is just a sampling of headlines from the past week. Click to enlarge…

Pro-life March Madness: “Sweeping… hurtling… astonishing display”

2013-03-27_1651

If abortion proponents condemned 2011 as “the year of abortion restrictions… mark[ing] a sea change for abortion rights,” and 2012 as “an unmitigated disaster for abortion rights,” I can’t imagine what they will say about 2013.

In 2011 there were a record 92 pro-life laws enacted in the states, followed by the second highest number, 43, in in 2012. This year has already seen at least 14 pro-life bills become law, according to Mailee Smith, Staff Counsel for Americans United for Life, so we are on track for another banner year.

But in 2013 we are not only seeing a high volume of typical pro-life legislative fare, we are seeing passage of pro-life legislation on steroids, the likes of which has never been observed in 40 years of legalized abortions throughout the U.S.

Spoof: Roe vs. Wade looking hot at 40

You remind me so much of that Democrat, Margaret Sanger, who succeeds with her plan to this very day to get blacks to participate in their own genocide, and use charming black folks to encourage other blacks to feel empowered and enlightened for believing that killing their children is okay. Yeah baby, I remember our […]

Most offensive pro-abortion ad ever – “Happy 40th Anniversary Baby” – PULLED

mehcad_brooks_pro_choice_psa_-_h_2013UPDATE 1/29, 5p: LifeSiteNews.com reported today:

Yesterday, CRR’s bizarre video was featured on their site and on Youtube. But last night – voila! – it vanished. (Although, as we know, nothing ever disappears completely from the web, and other Youtube users have already rescued it from oblivion.)

And no wonder. The video, featuring Mehcad Brooks, didn’t exactly go over as CRR intended. It got tens of thousands of views, but from all the wrong people. The commenters were overwhelmingly appalled, and “dislikes” overwhelmed the number of likes on Youtube by a considerable factor.

UPDATE 1/23, 10a: The Hollywood Reporter reports CRR’s disgusting ad is being “slammed”:

Who’s up for another star-studded pro-choice video?

The Center for Reproductive Rights blurs countries and causes, so where one woman in Kenya can’t take her baby home because she’s in debt for the delivery, this is compared to America being hostile to very late-term abortions in the former George Tiller clinic in Kansas… The Center’s staffers were quite clear they wanted to […]

Hollywood celebs claim abortion a “fundamental… human right”

A large cast of luminaries—including Kevin Bacon, Sandra Bernhard, Billy Crudup, Olympia Dukakis, Jenna Fischer, Caroline Kennedy, Lisa Kudrow, Tea Leoni, Audra McDonald, Oliver Platt, Martha Plimpton, Amy Poehler, Kyra Sedgwick, Sarah Silverman, Meryl Streep [pictured right], and Louis Zorich—have signed on to support the campaign and to speak out via a series of PSAs, […]

  • Here’s a classic B-word slip in a Slate article discussing how the placenta works, entitled, “Your fetus is an alien”:

[NYU’s Adrian] Erlebacher’s not the only one studying this stuff. [Harvey] Kliman, the Yale researcher, also investigated human placentas, and his findings suggest an entirely different mechanism in play. Kliman suspects that a specific protein in pregnant women, called PP13, acts as a decoy of sorts to trick the mom’s immune system to stay away from the baby.

ABC News: President’s top advisers on contraception mandate included Planned Parenthood CEO

Jake Tapper of ABC News wrote a remarkable story last week revealing the players in the Obama administration’s internal debate on the contraception mandate. According to Tapper, President Obama’s top advisers on the issue included Vice President Joe Biden, former White House Chief-of-Staff Bill Daley, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, former Domestic […]
