• Operation Rescue says LeRoy Carhart has sent yet another patient to the hospital following a late-term abortion at Germantown Reproductive Health Services. Recall that the Maryland Board of Physicians refused to discipline Carhart in the abortion death of Jennifer Morbelli in February:
  

  For the third time this year, one of LeRoy Carhart’s abortion patients were [sic] rushed to Shady Grove Hospital (SGH) in Maryland for emergency treatment after a late-term abortion.

  On Tuesday at 11:45 a.m., an ambulance arrived… and loaded a women for transport to the SGH emergency room. Sources inform Operation Rescue that the women underwent emergency surgery at the hospital.

  Video [below] taken by a local pro-life activist showed a woman covered head-to-toe in a sheet and that neither Carhart nor any of his staff accompanied the injured woman from the clinic to the ambulance.

After extensive testing, the Food and Drug Administration said Essure was safe and put it in a class that exempts manufacturers — in this case, Bayer — from lawsuits. Now, environmental activist Erin Brockovich [pictured right] is taking on the company — and the law — on behalf of women who say they are suffering…. […]

There probably isn’t a pro-life activist alive who didn’t think what I thought when watching President Obama give his speech about Syria this week. To garner support for his plan to attack that country, Obama implored the American people to view the images of innocent children who had been poisoned to death by their own president. It was clear Obama wanted us to emotionally invest in their tortured deaths:

It’s already happening. In less than a week, two cases involving children in need of lung transplants have gone to court challenging government policy.

This leads to the larger question: Should the government be intervening in this sort of healthcare policy to begin with? Be sure to vote in the poll at the bottom of this post.
