Shock: Wendy Davis had a late-term abortion

Texas Democratic gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis, who became a national political sensation by filibustering her state’s tough new restrictions on abortion, discloses in her upcoming memoir that she had an abortion in the 1990s after discovering that the fetus had a severe brain abnormality. In Forgetting to be Afraid, Davis also writes about ending an […]

Malpractice lawsuits against abortionist dismissed: no insurance, bankrupt

As many abortionists are found to be over the course of time, abortionist Reginald Sharpe is a menace to society.

ssharpebiobbabyThe rap sheet against Sharpe is long.

Sharpe’s medical license was placed on probation in 1998 for illegally administrating drugs and was suspended in 2005 after he botched an illegal 27-week abortion. Sharpe was busted in 2008 for illegally dumping patient records, aborted babies, medical waste, and syringes. In 2010 Medicaid revoked Sharpe’s certification for unspecified “fraud and abuse, false billing, or kickbacks.”

In addition, Sharpe has been sued at least five times:

  • Americans United for Life has filed two briefs supporting the conscience rights of Hobby Lobby and Autocam against the HHS contraceptive mandate:

The briefs… demonstrate that “emergency contraception,” life-ending drugs mislabeled as “contraception,” can prevent an embryo from implanting or kill an already-implanted embryo, and that forcing employers to provide coverage for such drugs violates the fundamental freedom of conscience.

Two dangerous and notorious Michigan abortionists retire

2013-02-04_1118Great news: Two bottom-feeding abortionists in Michigan have retired.

Both Alberto Hodari (top photo) and Enrique Gerbi (bottom photo) allowed their medical and pharmacy licenses to expire as of January 31, 2013 (Hodari here and here [plus pharmacy at four other locations]; Gerbi here and here).

Pro-life activist Lynn Mills first got wind of Hodari’s retirement in December when a receptionist at one of his five Michigan locations let the news slip. Since then Lynn has been watching for his license to lapse, during which time she noticed Gerbi’s was also expiring. Gerbi was a circuit riding abortionist for Hodari, among others.

At his high point Hodari owned 14 Michigan abortion clinics in 1988.

Abortionist Jacob Kalo has purchased two of Hodari’s remaining mills in Sterling Heights and Southfield, and abortionist Theodore Roumell has purchased his mills in Lansing and Flint. Both Kalo and Roumell are quacks in their own right. Hodari’s Livonia dump in Livonia is presently closed “for remodeling” (see photo below left) and at various times has been up for sale. Hopefully, it will be demolished.

Superbug: Gonorrhea soon untreatable

Guest post by Dustin Siggins

Over the last two generations, the political and cultural left has changed the way many Americans view relationships, sex, and children. With about 1.2 million abortions per year, divorce rates at around 50%, and out-of-wedlock birth rates at record highs, one could easily believe they are winning.

However, even humans can’t beat natural law and reality. Marriage, which is mostly a college-educated, upper-income phenomenon these days, offers many benefits “shacking up” does not. Abortion, long claimed to “help” women, is increasingly shown to be done for so-called “elective” reasons, even for partial-birth abortions.

And now the Centers for Disease Control is proving the Catholic Church, LDS Church, Baptists, and other socially conservative institutions correct on abstinence until marriage….

The ramifications of McDonnell’s retreat on Virginia’s ultrasound bill

Three weeks ago Virginia Senator Jill Vogel’s ultrasound bill, SB484, had passed in the Senate and was on its third (last) reading in the House, thisclose to moving from the General Assembly to pro-life Governor Bob McDonnell for his signature. Meanwhile feminists, incited by their recent bludgeoning of Komen, had launched a campaign to defeat the bill with the histrionic […]
