Lawmakers get death threats after passing sweeping pro-life laws

2013-03-28_1044

On March 22 North Dakota became the first state to legislatively authorize a ballot initiative that would establish the right to life from the moment of conception.

On March 26 North Dakota Governor Jack Dalrymple signed three other major pro-life bills into law. According to the Bismarck Tribune:

Eleventh 40 Days for Life launches today

40Today the 11th 40 Days for Life campaign kicks off.

I mention it because IMO 40 Days is one of the best things the pro-life movement has going.

At abortion clinics where 40 Days prayer warriors have maintained a presence, 6,749 documented lives have been saved, 76 abortion workers have left the industry, and 28 abortion clinics have closed (including one just 1-1/2 weeks ago) – all since 2004.

Pro-life tweet mob shuts down Planned Parenthood PR stunt

I’ve mentioned before that it is helpful to conduct recognizance on the other side’s social networks. You can learn interesting information. Last Tuesday morning Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas posted this notice on its Facebook page:

Texan pro-lifer Andy Moore spotted the notice and immediately began contacting friends. A coalition quickly formed, including (among others) Bryan Kemper, Students for Life of America, and Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust.

When 3p came, pro-lifers were ready, totally overwhelming a Twitter conversation Planned Parenthood had intended to pressure the State of Texas into reinstating funding to one about Planned Parenthood itself. Afterward Bryan reported:

Two dangerous and notorious Michigan abortionists retire

2013-02-04_1118Great news: Two bottom-feeding abortionists in Michigan have retired.

Both Alberto Hodari (top photo) and Enrique Gerbi (bottom photo) allowed their medical and pharmacy licenses to expire as of January 31, 2013 (Hodari here and here [plus pharmacy at four other locations]; Gerbi here and here).

Pro-life activist Lynn Mills first got wind of Hodari’s retirement in December when a receptionist at one of his five Michigan locations let the news slip. Since then Lynn has been watching for his license to lapse, during which time she noticed Gerbi’s was also expiring. Gerbi was a circuit riding abortionist for Hodari, among others.

At his high point Hodari owned 14 Michigan abortion clinics in 1988.

Abortionist Jacob Kalo has purchased two of Hodari’s remaining mills in Sterling Heights and Southfield, and abortionist Theodore Roumell has purchased his mills in Lansing and Flint. Both Kalo and Roumell are quacks in their own right. Hodari’s Livonia dump in Livonia is presently closed “for remodeling” (see photo below left) and at various times has been up for sale. Hopefully, it will be demolished.

Stanek (early) weekend question: Are pro-life marches a waste of time?

image

UPDATE 6p: Well, the plot of this blog post has certainly thickened.

Abolish Human Abortion founder Russell Hunter has posted a YouTube video (see also below) responding to my weekend question, because, he said, “Jill Stanek actually used a Facebook status that I wrote as the conjecture or the inspiration for her survey,” and “Jill Stanek uses this Facebook status as evidence that Abolish Human Abortion thinks all marches are worthless.”

Ask Them What They Mean By “Choice” Day 2013

565600_10200344040269360_2012432767_nUPDATE 1/24, 10:30a: Thanks to all who participated, whether by the many great posts I read on your blogs (links below), or on Facebook, or on Twitter (where the conversation at #Tweet4Choice is still going strong!).

I think our effort this year was particularly impactful given the dust up in the pro-abortion community over the word “choice.”

Thanks again for doing such a great job pushing back on their euphemismistic cover-up of preborn murder.
