New reality show to feature daughter and ex-wife of Atlanta abortionist

2013-01-18_1531

On January 23 the Style channel will premiere a new reality series, Big Rich Atlanta.

It’s a take off of Big Rich Texas, which is take off of the various Real Housewives series, none of which I’ve watched more than a few minutes, because everything about them makes me sad – the plasticity, the exploitation, the shallowness – everything. I just keep thinking to myself, “These poor people so need Jesus.”

870-bratcast-mf-112812-g13But I digress.

At least one of the two stars of Big Rich Atlanta merits attention, Meagan McBrayer, pictured right.

Meagan is the daughter of abortionist Daniel McBrayer, who has a chop shop in the Atlanta, Georgia, suburb of Marietta.

We in the pro-life movement don’t believe children should be punished for the sins of their fathers.

But this father has passed his sin on to his daughter.

Meagan’s Style bio lists her as a “licensed real estate agent,” which may be true. But Meagan also works at her dad’s office.

DOJ continues to lose FACE

2013-01-14_14001/15, 7p: The poll is closed. 91% of you think the DOJ is trying to intimidate pro-lifers.

Last week President Obama’s Department of Justice lost yet another Freedom of Access to Clinics case when it settled with pro-lifer David Hamilton.

More on Attorney General Eric Holder’s harassment of Hamilton below.

But for those keeping count, here is the losing list of FACE cases brought forth by the Obama DOJ so far (including one not even listed on the DOJ site, US v. Parente):

Book on Komen’s cave to Planned Parenthood passes Politifact’s “truthometer” test

Georgia’s Politifact decided to analyze Karen Handel’s book, Planned Bullyhood, on two key points.

Stop the madness: Georgia abortion clinic has violated regs AND waivers for two decades

In 1994, the Georgia State Planning Agency notified the architect designing Atlanta Women’s Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia, that plans for its two-story late-term abortion clinic needed to include an elevator.

The clinic’s owner, HUMEDCO Corporation, which runs a chain of three abortion clinics, claimed it would be too expensive to add an elevator and requested a waiver.

The Georgia Department of Human Services granted the waiver, through August 31, 2005. It went on to grant another waiver, through August 31, 2012.

The terms in both cases were that AWMC had to notify prospective patients of the stairs, escort recovering patients down the stairs, and also notify 911 operators that there was no elevator in the event of an emergency.

Meanwhile AWMC raked in the cash, between $3-3.5 MILLION every year from 2008 to 2011.

On October 20, 2011, an ambulance was called to AWMC (for what later turned out to be a perforated uterus)….

Ominous Planned Parenthood fundraising appeal details recent pro-life victories

Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards sent a fundraising email this morning under an ominous caption…

I guess standing with Planned Parenthood is not supposed to be fun but frightening, kind of like watching a scary murder movie…

Indeed, the letter was intended to frighten Planned Parenthood supporters that their beloved organization and cause were losing ground at great speed by listing recent pro-life accomplishments. Of course, reading this list had the opposite effect on me, as I’m sure it will you:

Pro-life bill boom continues in 2012

2011 was a banner year for the passage of pro-life legislation in the states. According to the pro-abortion research group Guttmacher Institute:

By almost any measure, 2011 saw unprecedented attention to issues related to reproductive health and rights at the state level…. The 92 new abortion restrictions shattered the previous record of 34 abortion restrictions adopted in 2005.

Although I was braced for a dip in 2012, since it’s an election year, I’m happy to report the number of pro-life legislation being enacted into law in 2012 remains strong.

Pro-life community suffers tragic losses

Over the weekend the pro-life movement tragically lost Students for Life of America Field Director Kortney Blythe Gordon and her preborn 21-week-old daughter Sophy in an automobile accident. About 8p Saturday night Kortney, 28, and three passengers were driving back to Virginia from an SFLA conference in Georgia. An oncoming vehicle on the two-lane road […]
