by Tim Campbell at Cagle.com (Long story short: Indianapolis Colts football player Robert Mathis took the fertility drug Clomid at the end of last season to aid his wife in conceiving, particularly because his mom had been diagnosed with Stage 4 esophageal cancer, and they wanted to give her another grandchild. Mathis’s doctor said Clomid was not on the NFL’s list of performance-enhancing drugs, but it was. Campbell has now been suspended for the first four games of the 2014 season. Meanwhile, his wife is expecting a little girl, due this fall.)…

Stanek Sunday funnies: “VA Memorial Day, Part I” edition

Happy Memorial Day weekend! How fitting that the Veterans Administration scandal should break as we honor those who have fallen for our country, not just in war, as it turns out, but in waiting lines for healthcare at the VA.

It seemed to me as many, if not more, liberal comics piled on this week as conservatives, leaving many zingers to choose from. I’ve split them into two posts, six each. View Part II here. Please be sure to vote for your fav in the poll at the bottom of each post.

Stanek Sunday funnies, “Liberals turn on Obama II” edition

This week critical mass was reached. The Benghazi, IRS, and DOJ scandals became too much for liberal cartoonists to ignore, and they came down en masse on President Obama. It appears the likely straw was spying on one of their own.

Be sure to vote for your favorite in the poll at the end of the post. And be sure to see Part I!

Stanek Sunday funnies 4-21-13

Here were my top five favorite political cartoons this week. Don’t forget to vote for your favorite in the poll at the bottom of the post.

I mentioned last Sunday I anticipated more political cartoons about Kermit Gosnell to be forthcoming. Of course, none of us knew the Boston Marathon bombing was just one day away, which understandably diverted attention from the infanticide abortionist. But liberal Signe Wilkinson at GoComics.com still found time to blame pro-lifers for the mass murderer…

Conservative Chip Bok at Townhall.com noted with sarcasm what I’m sure is absolutely true in some circles…
image
Speaking of infanticide, liberal Jim Morin at GoComics.com thinks there’s just no time to legislate against it

Stanek Sunday funnies: “Gosnell” edition

I expect more Gosnell political cartoons will roll out this week, but here are the first three. I’m also including two flashbacks from January 30, 2011, when the Gosnell mass murders were first publicized. Vote for your favorite at the bottom of this post.
