I knew it. I figured they were going to throw Trombley under the bus to hide the fact that it is part of PP’s national strategy. I for one do not believe that the central office didn’t know about PP Chicago’s deception. P.S. Ms. Bruhn seems to be foaming at the mouth in this clip. Has she had her rabies shots??

If Steve Trombley, a “stupid low level” employee of Planned Parenthood is making $350.000 a year, what are the higher up employees making? Not for profit? Methinks they aren’t spending our tax dollars very well…
Nothin’ like passin’ the buck, PP. You almost feel sorry for Mr. Trombley. Nah!
And why is the vice president of NOW speaking as if she works for Planned Parenthood. Where are the “higher ups” of Planned Parenthood?
It’s interesting to see that Mr. Trombley actually attended a meeting, instead of hiding outside…

She claims that this was a one time stupid mistake, yet the same exact thing is going on in Colorado and Oregon…
Last month, with a reporter in hot pursuit, Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains was forced to come clean about its secret purchase of a city block of property and plans to break ground on a 50,000 square foot abortion mill this November
PP has admitted to several news outlets it went stealth with plans to build in Denver, Aurora, and Portland, OR, to avoid such pro-life boycotts as were undertaken at the Austin, TX, PP mill in 2003, which delayed its opening several months.
Hmmmmm…I wonder if the stupid low level employees in those towns also make 6 figure incomes…

This lady makes PP look even more foolish with her condemnation of Trombley. Like MK said they have pulled the same exact stunt in other cities.
I guess that would make them all look foolish including herself for supporting this debacled situation.
I would really like to know where the higher ups are too. (At home counting all of their blood money) What a bunch of cowards. I am sure Trombley will lose his job. YEAH!!!!! They are tangled in so many lies they can’t even cover their own tracks.

Well there is a wealth of ignorance out there.
Can it be no one on the Aurora city council knew that there needed to be a special use permit and meetings before the special use permit was issued? They should have announced this feature of the zoning code at the first council meeting where folks were voicing concerns.
Obviously PP wanted to avoid the legally required newspaper ad announcing their intentions. They don’t want opponents to have their rights. They are such spoiled brats. Always screaming about their rights and actively subverting those of others. They want special treatment. They have not demonstrated an interest in following the letter of the law or supporting the health of the community.
Now that the City council cannot hide the facts that the rules have not been followed regarding special use permits, will PP follow the letter of the law and place the newspaper ads soliciting the community involvement they went to such lengths to avoid.
Why do some believe that PP is trying to follow any law?
Check out the following comment from just a few days ago alleging PP’s interest in “the letter of the law”

If they violated no law, they should be not be punished. Personally, I feel that fraud was not committed. PP may have kept things quiet but I believe they adhered to the letter of the law.
Realistically, I think the city of Aurora is simply bowing to anti-abortion pressure at this point. They’ll investigate simply so they don’t look bad and then they’ll allow PP to open.

I wonder how one can believe that PP is trying to follow the letter of the law, when the evidence is otherwise.
The Aurora city council is not “bowing to pressure” rather it is supposed to solicit input from the citizens it represents. When they are elected, they are not charged with the responsibility to support the rights of business that want to come in and overrule the objections of their own citizens, rather they are charged with reflecting and enforcing the community standards of the community which has elected them.
The following comment completely galls me:
“They’ll investigate simply so they don’t look bad and then they’ll allow PP to open.”
What incredible contempt for democracy and the rights of citizens to petition for redress. This comment suggests to me the belief that public servants pretend half-heartedly to do their jobs and then just go on and do whatever they feel like in direct opposition to the will of the people and and lacking their consent. Council are not dictators.
I am not sure how one can “feel that fraud was not committed.”
Fraud is not something you feel. It is a course of action.
Can you imagine going to jury selection and telling the court that you feel the defendent is not guilty without hearing the facts of the investigation?
If you like someone, you just feel they are right without looking at what has really happened.
It may be a reasoning process, but it is not logic.

Steve Trombley will lose his job, there’s always a scapgoat. Not that I care, but you KNOW everyone (meaning pro-choice advocates and Trombley supporters) will say it’s because of the “radical” pro-lifers, not because he tried to fraud the City or because he’s PP’s fall guy. Just another attempt to paint us in a bad light.

What do people think of using “Keep Out of Aurora” signs at other PP mills? Do you think it will make them feel the heat that much more? I am new at this so I am not sure.

I was at the City Council meeting last night and Steve Trombley wasn’t there. The focus of my little speech was why he stays outside and doesn’t show his face to have our questions answered by him in a public forum. It’s obvious that he is acting like someone who is afraid because he knows he was wrong. He has to send in his people to do his dirty work because he doesn’t have the guts to face us.

I had the opportunity to speak at last night and got sandwiched between Bonnie Grabenhofer, president of Illinois NOW, and Gay Bruhn, vice president of communication for Illinois NOW. I guess its funny how things have a way of working out. Anyway, while I was hugging my wife and newborn after the speech I heard Ms. Bruhn screaming about some low level person I had no idea she was taking about S. Trombley. It all makes sense to me now – they’re imploding! Jeff, thanks for the fine video work.
The video made it look like Steve was in the room.
I’d be surprised if he was even in the country.

Isn’t it amazing how the Lord has been with us all the way?! I found an awesome verse that I thought was so appropiate for such a time as this. He who is pregnant with evil and conceives trouble gives birth to disillusionment. Psalms7:14. Read the whole chapter guys its amazing. God has shown himself faithful now, we have to keep our eyes on the prize. And the prize is beautiful babies allowed to live!!!

I find it strange that Ms. Bruhn made some comment that she was being followed by someone and said something to the effect that “not to follow me” She was muttering under her breath as she passed us by in the front row. Not sure what to make of it. Sounds like she was paranoid.
With friends like this…nothing like support from your a more senior person in your work. This organization is going to use him as a scapegoat. If he has any sense, he’d resign.
