Planned Parenthood closing shows why PP is pushing nationalized healthcare
From KFBB in MT, October 12:

One of the state’s 5 Planned Parenthood clinics is closing its doors for good. The announcement came today, as officials say the Kalispell clinic will shut down, due to a decline in patients.
The clinic plans to close on November 20th. Officials say the decision is purely financial, as the Flathead area has been hit especially hard during the economic downturn….
Stacy James of PP of MT says the people are losing their health insurance, postponing care, and turning to public clinics….
The Kalispell clinic opened 4 years ago, and joins several PP locations nationwide that have closed since the economic recession.
Note these quotes, first from Dailyinterlake.com:
James said that Flathead City-Co. Health Department receives federal money to provide family planning to low-income people. In other areas, PP receives those dollars that help subsidize its operations.
And from KAJ18.com:

[E]xplained PP of MT’s Beth Cogswell… “What we’re seeing at those clinics that have that government funding is an increase in patient numbers, but with more of our patients not having the ability to pay. So, basically we’re seeing more patients have less. So, that’s really been the trend at our other 5 clinics across the state.”…
Nationalized healthcare would not only funnel money to PP, it would stop states from picking and choosing whether to subsidize their PPs.

It is really cold in Monatana.

Closing PP clinics is actually a god problem to have.
Poor, poor Planned Parenthood is practically begging people who are ignorant of their strong financial standing to hand over their hard-earned cash. PP’s timing is golden. Playing the sympathy card, just as the Healthcare bill is being written. Just wait, the PP mega-centers that have been built in Houston, Naples, Aurora, Portland, Denver, and beyond, over the last few years will be “abortioneer heaven”. The tax-payers will probably be paying for bus charters and other modes of transportation for women seeking abortions under the guise of “healthcare”. These mega-centers might become training centers for future abortionists. It doesn’t hurt that they are also located in affluent, highly desirable travel destinations. Perfect for annual conferences, seasonal parties, entertaining, etc… Is this what we want to pay for as part of “health care”?
You mean PP is a business and really doesn’t care about women, just the bottom line?
Oh please, say it ain’t so!!!
Sorry, Hisman.
The truth is that abortion is big business. Business built on the blood of the innocents.
Oh, AND abortion isn’t healthcare!! I know!!
We know who wins in the end. Come quickly, Lord Jesus.
