Maybe it would be ok if the Republicans had a bit of a win. That’d give President Obama two years in which he could allow the Republicans to demonstrate their policies of dishonesty, economic mismanagement/corruption and medieval social agendas.
The only way His Presidency can be referred to as ‘lame duck’ is because the Republicans only have one policy – the removal of a democratically elected president.
They would stagnate the nation.

Cranium – Your 100% right. However we do not need another 2 years to see how that will turn out as we are still trying to recover from the latest republican imposed national crisis. It blows my mind to look at where we were as a country at the end of the Clinton White House and at the HUGE mess Obama stepping into on his first day… Anyone who cannot see what the republicans did to us in just 8 years simply has their eyes closed.
Obama has been trying to help this country with every breath he has taken in the white house. Even if you don’t agree with what he is doing you have to admit he is doing something. All the republicans have done is say no and that is not helping. They came out and said just last week that they intend to do nothing different than they have done in the last couple decades… So I guess if they come back to power we will see rich people getting richer and everyone else getting poorer as the numbers clearly show. We will have oil companies like BP doing whatever they want without supervision or responsibility. Same thing with Wall Street and insurance companies because who cares about the sick anyway… During the Bush lead republican rule of the last decade we saw multiple fortune 500 companies crumble due to their own greed leaving many employees with no retirement or income at all. Heck New Orleans still has not recovered from the serious mismanagement of the Katrina disaster.
I would bet 5000 dollars that after the last of the BP oil spill is cleaned up and fishing returned to normal, the mess from Katrina will still not be picked up let alone rebuilt. I cannot support a party that is so obviously racist and concerned only with money and the power it confers.
I imagine insurance is imprescindible to anyone fain to living a disquiet people experience. But today´s rates are upright too luxuriously!
