Unlicensed abortionist nabbed; child survives
From the Wichita Eagle, today:
Police say a man accused of repeatedly stabbing an 8-year-old boy at a New York restaurant had been hunting for a child to kill for weeks.
Says Nassau Co. Police Sgt. Vincent Garcia: “His intent was to kill a child.”
Evan Sachs of Merrick is due back in court Wednesday to face attempted murder charges.
Police say Sachs crept up behind a child playing a video game Friday at a Dave and Buster’s restaurant on Long Island and plunged the 4-inch blade of a hunting knife into his back five times. The victim is expected to survive.
Sachs’ attorney, Charles Rosenblum, told reporters his client has been under psychiatric care and recently had medications changed….
Sachs was being held without bail.
All abortionists should be under psychiatric care.
Am thankful the child survived. The Gothamist reported, “At least 1 of the 5 wounds punctured a lung, causing a partial collapse, officials tell Newsday. (He’s currently listed in stable condition.)”

This is horrifying to me because I am walking around with MY son and to think someone could run up and do this to MY BABY…I am just shuddering. What kind of psychological damage has been done to this little child? I am thankful he will survive with his life. And my heart goes out to his mom. I cannot imagine the RAGE she feels. This child-killing loser is gonna be fresh meat in prison thats for sure and I don’t feel bad about that at all.
Ok, it took me a few times to get that this guy isn’t actually an unlicensed abortion doctor. I kept looking for details that this guy killed unborn babies and then went after older kids, too.
And btw, when I read about this yesterday, I was horrified. That boy is my son’s age. :(
I’m with Sydney. I’m glad the son will survive, but he will need lots of TLC and people who are kind and understanding to help him through any psychological psyche damage as a result of this attack. Glad they caught the guy and I wish the little boy and his parents God’s grace and blessing in getting past this.
Wait a minute. According to news reports, “Sachs had worked until recently at a movie theater in Farmingdale and has no criminal record.”
?Unlicensed abortionist? Have you got him mixed up with someone else? I can’t find any information online that suggests this man has been anything other than a mental patient. What am I missing here?

As a mother, I put myself in the shoe’s of this boy’s mother as well and I feel horrified! Oh, I just can’t even imagine…. I’m glad he’s going to be okay!
The only real differences between this 8-year-old boy and the unborn child is: place of residence, how they receive their oxygen and nutrients, their size, their development (human development begins at conception and only ends upon death, even if the human being in question is elderly), and the fact that one is easily seen (the boy, of course) and one is not (the unborn child).

:-) about the same time actually Kel (although I must point out that it really was more a case of them seducing me). I then tried again in my early 30’s, only to find myself even more convinced of the falsity of religion. And the more I read and see of the world and in the blogosphere, the more evincing the argument against religion becomes.

The only aspect I might ever boast of Kel was that I never let things get ‘out of hand’.
None whatsoever. Nature is nature which is part of evolution of the universe. I don’t think we yet fully realize the inherent strength and ‘network’ of ecosystems. Thus when A occurs here, B happens there, perhaps with a link that we do not understand.
Some may refer to this as yin and yang, others have used pagan strictures, even druidism. Greek gods anyone? Then there are those who give up and say goddidit!
