Stanek Sunday quote: “Never quit!”
Do you see what this mean – all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we’d better get on with it. Strip down, start running – and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in.
Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed – that exhilarating finish in and with God – he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God.
When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!

Whoever picks the Sunday quotes does a good job. They are always very inspiring and motivational.
Amen.
The Scriptural passage from Hebrews 12:1-3 is a good challenge to persevere in the path of faith and righteousness regardless of circumstances. It is significant that this passage follows immediately upon Hebrews chapter 11, which is considered the great chapter on faith in the life of the believer in God and Christ. In chapter 11 a number of examples of great faith exercised by Old Testament characters is displayed. While many of these people of faith experienced miracles of deliverance in their lives, others persevered in faith and righteousness even when they endured great trials that sometimes ended in persecution and death of their bodies.
So, the truth comes out about you phonies.
You want jesus shove in people’s faces.
Nothing but budding theocrats. May this nation be destroyed if Christers take it over and force their dogma on others.
Is using a known poster’s name to pose as them against the rules? This doesn’t sound like the Jack I know. He can usually form a coherent sentence.
“Jack”,
I don’t want “jesus shove in people’s faces”. I’m not religious, personally. I accept and respect that many people here ARE religious, but that doesn’t bother me, because they respect me and MY beliefs. We all collectively just want the killing to stop.
Well, not the same Jack, of course. More like “Jack Borsht Belt Comedian”.
Lol how ridiculous.
