What pro-life gains are you thankful for this Thanksgiving?
But back to my question, I was thinking this morning how thankful I am that abortion clinics are closed on Thanksgiving. That’s a pro-life victory. What’s more, I’m sure several mothers are reflecting on this family day and reconsidering the abortion appointment they’ve made.
What pro-life gains are you thankful for today?

It was the cancer that saved her life. And she saved mine, too. If I hadn’t become pregnant, the cancer — a typically asymptomatic type — likely would not have been discovered until it had spread much further.”
I’m thankful that “the tide is turning”, that people are – finally! – WAKING UP to the horror that is abortion.
To steal a line from TPOTUS- FORWARD!
I’m thankful that so many pieces of abortion regulations were passed over the course of 2011 and 2012 that they’ll probably never get around to challenging all of them in court.
Every single mother who chooses life is something to be thankful for.
We should also be thankful that, at least for now, we can still choose life in America. The Chinese are still not so fortunate.
I’m thankful for my four daughters, especially my youngest Clare, who survived with no complications in spite of my life-threatening pulmonary emboli when I was seven months pregnant with her. Her healthy birth in 2004 was miraculous.
I also wanted to ask special prayers this Thanksgiving weekend. Tomorrow, Black Friday, Dr. Martin Haskell will be aborting babies in Indianapolis. We hear he prides himself on his speed so he can kill even more babies. We will be at the mill praying in person and handing out leaflets warning the moms about his dangerous record. Please pray for moms, babies, employees and especially Dr. Haskell. Pray that God our Father and Worker of All Miracles will get them to stop the killing, one way or another.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone, and safe travels!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Sadly, indeed the above is correct and confirmed. I received the following in the Great Lakes Gabriel Project newsletter:
BLACK FRIDAY, 2012 – You can make a difference. This Friday millions of people will be doing their Christmas shopping and searching for bargains. At the same time, Women’s Medical Center in Indianapolis will be conducting a marathon. Dr. Martin Haskell, the owner, will be performing abortions all day long. I’ve heard from workers at the center that Haskell prides himself on how fast he can do an abortion.
We need Prayer Partners to back up the sidewalk counselors on Black Friday.
The first abortion is scheduled for 8:30am and they will go all through the afternoon -as long as it takes. Even though the other abortion centers will be closed that day, it will not be easy to have sidewalk counselors cover it. Some counselors go out of town and others have out-of-town company over for the holiday, but the killing will go on.
Your sacrifice can make a difference. If you can spare an hour, please contact Elizabeth K. via email (let me know if you are interested in participating and want her contact info).
Very thankful for a resurgence of Abolition in America!!

Very thankful that God has turned my hardened heart after abortion to be involved in His work. LIFE!!
Very thankful for ALL of the work of Pregnancy Care Centers and those on the front lines outside of abortion mills day after day. They offer to women what I so wanted 22 years ago before I aborted.
God bless ALL of you!!
Thankful for the power of love and even though it’s not New Years yet I’m going to believe that the coming year will bring three major victories to the pro-life cause and that the beginning of those victories will begin during the Christmas season. I’m also praying that the power of love, agape love, will be so strong around abortion clinics that they will not be able to continue their mission of death and that those who were soldiers of death will instead become soldiers for life.
Jill,
Beautiful photo btw!! :)
