“Teen Mom 2” star head over heels in love with baby number two
Such a good baby. You guys have no idea. I don’t even know how I could be so lucky.
I was not connected to this second pregnancy like I was when I was pregnant with Isaac, but as soon as this little human being was born it’s like every feeling and anxiety I had was reversed. I swear to you this baby boy doesn’t ever cry unless he’s hungry and even then I hate letting him get to that point.
I really cannot express the love I have for my Lincoln.
~ Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry-Marroquin (pictured above with her boys – click to enlarge), gushing over her second son, Lincoln, Yahoo! Celebrity, February 7. Backstory from the same article:
Lowry gave birth to her son Isaac Rivera in January 2010 on season 2 of MTV’s 16 and Pregnant. At the time, she was dating Jo Rivera, whom she currently shares custody of Isaac with, but after they split, Lowry met [Javi] Marroquin and the couple married at a courthouse in September 2012…. And in November 2013, they welcomed their first son together, Lincoln Marshall.

Congratulations to her and her husband and to her first little son on the newest member of their family! It is always a happy day when a baby is born.
Congratulations to Kailyn and Javi!
How sad if she had aborted Lincoln based on a lack of feeling bonded to him in the womb plus her fear and anxieties. She would have never known the joy and love she is experiencing now.
Uhhhhggg I hate that being a “good baby” is associated with not crying. That makes me CRAZY. First of all, crying is a healthy, normal way for infants to communicate their wants and needs – not just food, but attention, affection, sleep, etc. Secondly, to say not crying makes for a “good baby” it follows that a baby who cries a lot is NOT good, ie “a bad baby” or a “less good baby”, and thats such a horrible message to pass on to moms who have a different experience. Third, hardly ever crying (and never crying for attention/affection/cuddles) is actually a negative prognostic indicator for autism spectrum – so its not something to think is awesome, its actually something to keep a watchful eye on.
But I know she’s young and super naive. Hopefully there are plenty of responsible adults in her life.
Amanda, she probably meant an easy baby.
