I’m voting for #5 this week.
In my company, you couldn’t ‘lose’ an email if you tried – tape backup on servers captures everything through time. Come on IRS…be a little more sneaky with this!
#2 is more correct than funny – we should have never made this stupid mess in Iraq in the first place. The gift that keeps on giving…
We all miss Saddam Hussein…. right, Ex-?
At this point I think most people miss Bush too Del.
Del –
Of course, I suppose you and truth are 2 of the 10-15 people in this country that still think we should have gone into Iraq as we did…
Iraq was a mistake.
But I remember that an overwhelming majority of Americans supported the invasion, when we all believed that Saddam had chemical WMD’s. It was a mistake of military intelligence.
Even England and Tony Blair (the liberal leader of a liberal nation) were convinced of the rightness of the invasion. Their capable intelligence operation failed, too.
So go ahead…. Blame Bush, if it makes you feel better.
But what we really need are competent statesmen who can deal with the situation at hand — instead of pantywaists who blame someone else for why they can’t.
What plans do you have for DAY ONE – after the baby is born?
Bottles, diapers, bassinets, childcare to allow the new mother to work? Are these issues of concern to the Pro Life
movement?
I sure hope so!
Del –
I don’t blame Bush or fingerpoint what’s going on now – I don’t think there is much value to it. It is what it is and we need to do something about it.
But I have heard those that blame Obama for not keeping troops in the country, and I think that’s a backwards opinion.
Wmd’s were found.

RITA: The Pro-life movement is very involved with maternal and infant care. It is the abortion movement that ceases to care about a woman after she leaves their clinic.
If you care to visit a pro-life Pregnancy Center, or view one of their websites, you will find that we continue to care for a woman and her family for as long as she needs it, always at no cost to the woman or to taxpayers. These are funded entirely by generous donations of pro-lifers.
We also provide counseling and healing for post-abortive women.
The abortion industry insists that pro-lifers do not care about women or children after the child is born. That is another one of their bald-faced lies that you can debunk at home with your own computer. Google “pro-life pregnancy center.”
I must be one of the 10-15. I still think invading Iraq was a good idea. Saddam was mass killing his own people. How can we sit by and say that’s ok? I just think we should’ve gotten out of there a long time ago. Kill the bad guy, move on…let the citizens of the country handle it after that. Instead we hung around and they feel ‘invaded’ instead of ‘assisted’.
Rita Denowitz: “What plans do you have for DAY ONE – after the baby is born?”
You must be new here.

Check the dates Ex. Your information is old.

I see nothing but speculation and a bunch of maybes in that article.
Do you have anything better? Wouldn’t former members of the Bush admininstration go on every tv show in the world saying they were right?
ISG Report: “One of the key UN unresolved issues involves 550 mustard-filled rounds. An ISG investigation into this issue yielded inconsistent information about the final disposition of the 550 shells, with one official claiming they were retained for future use. The ISG has not been able to confirm these claims.”

While it’s nice that FactCheck looked at this info and concluded “No WMD’s”, many don’t agree. And it seems the info released by Wikileaks in 2010 shows that weapons meeting WMD criteria continued to be found. But if it makes you feel better to believe they don’t exist, whatever.
Lrning –
The general consensus of the world is that they didn’t exist. Yes, there are “possibilities” as you’ve pointed out. We spent billions upon billions on the war effort, and many died and many many more were injured – based on what was said was a certainty, and at best, is a possibility. It has nothing to do with “making me feel better” – it’s about being truthful, and it’s about understanding past mistakes and not repeating them.
“The general consensus of the world…” “it’s about being truthful…”
LOL. Thanks for the laughs.
Lrning –
We’ve gotten a little off subject. My point is we should have never had troops in Iraq in the first place – that the war effort – costs and lives were not worth it.
Do you agree or disagree with that?
And my point, in response to Del’s comment, was that WMD’s have been found.
But you agree with Del and me then that it was a mistake?
I won’t be offering an opinion on that.
