I’m voting for #5 this week.
It was difficult to vote for a favorite this week … all five of the political cartoons were awesome!
Glad you approve, Rochelle!
#4 (Eric Holder, the pincushion).
I wish the cartoonist had shown the arrow about Holder’s pointless prosecution of pro-life activists (judge said, “I am at a loss as to why the Administration chose to prosecute a case without any evidence to bring forward”) and his connections to the abortion industry (his sister owns a chop shop).
I voted for #4. I just want to say that I’m shocked that the “latte salute” is leading when it’s pretty much the most ridiculous thing imaginable. It’s petty, and frivolous, and detracts from legitimate criticisms.
I agree about the “Starbucks Salute.” It was petty, but Obama should have know better. He knows that the eyes of the whole world are on him . . . sometimes I wonder what he’s thinking!
“sometimes I wonder what he’s thinking!”
The problem is that he’s usually not thinking at all.
I agree phillymiss, but I think that’s just the thing. He wasn’t thinking, and honestly what president isn’t occasionally guilty of that. As JDC says he usually isn’t thinking and about much more important things. The news coverage was ridiculous. At most it deserved a little “look at this goof” coverage. A quick little blip at most.
