Hey, Progressives! We’re supposed to like abortion!

Progressives have apologized for being right. But we don’t have to. Abortion saves lives, improves lives, and makes for a stronger society. The facts are decisively on our side.
Most profoundly, Pollitt’s book is a call for us all to reclaim and speak out about the truths we know. Personally, I like abortion. I’ve never needed one. I’m still glad to have the option. I’m glad for the people I’ve known who got pregnant at the wrong time, with the wrong people, and didn’t have their lives ruined by it.
If Pollitt gets her way, more of us might feel free to admit that, hey: We like abortion.

This argument never ceases to amaze me: abortion must remain legal because I could choose to be completely naked and intimate with a person I would call “wrong”.
Im with Eric. Ik a girl who sleeps around. Shes had one abortion and then became pregnant with a daughter she almost aborted. She has no clue who the daughters dad is so shes raising her alone. Then she met a man and bedded him the first night. They became an item. She wanted a baby…forget about marriage. She became pregnant and miscarried. They tried again and she became pregnant again. He left her and told her to abort adding “Its not my kid.” He stayed away for the entire pregnancy birth and the baby was in NICU. He was never looking back. She tracked him down through his other baby mama. Hes back in the picture now. BUT things are not going well. Hes got a drug addiction and shes so afraid he will walk away if she doesnt give him $ He owes 70 grand on back child support for his other young daughter. Tragic. Hes got kids everywhere but hes the perfect candidate for a vasectomy. Why would a woman want a baby with someone who doesnt have a pot to pee in? He wont work cuz child support will take it. Now her life is going down the tubes because hes back. sad. Get to know the man and GET MARRIED! Shes 33 years old and hes in his mid 50s and a grandfather.
“Pregnant at the wrong time, with the wrong people” sounds to me like the baby itself is the “wrong person.” I know that’s not what was intended but the grammar of it suggests as much. Which is just sort of a chilling thing to say.

Really? The definition I looked up says differently:
Abortion “1: the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, resulting in, or closely followed by the death of the embryo or fetus:”
Embryo “the developing human individual from the time of implantation to the end of the eighth week after conception”
fetus: “: a developing human from usually two months after conception to birth”
So, the death of a developing human with each abortion… and some girls have had several… whose life, exactly, is being saved?

From listening to the women who’ve had abortions, there seems to be a cognitive dissonance between abortion rights activists & the women having abortions. While activists see abortion as liberating & empowering, most women seem to see it as the best choice/only choice out of difficult choices they have in a crappy situation, due to a lack of socio-economic resources or emotional support (& rarely health issues & fetal abnormalities).
Let us instead reduced the need for abortion & make abortion unthinkable through better biology/contraception education/use & create a society more supportive of pregnant & parenting women.
…so there is less need or demand for abortion and abortion is truly “rare”

Proborts can never tell me of one woman whose literal life has been saved because of abortion (ectopic pregnancies are different deals altogether and both sides know this).
I have, though, heard proborts whine and say things like, “I would have killed myself if I couldn’t have had an abortion so having the abortion saved my life!!”
Pfft.
What these proborts are really saying is, “If I feel suicidal, I have the right to kill someone other than myself.”
Sounds an awful lot like the reason many folks are in prison to me.
Yet we’re still going to be told every single day that NOBODY is pro-abortion.
The bottom of her sign reads Fallopians 4:28, which of course is a mockery of the Bible. I suggest she read and heed the Letter of Saint Paul to Phillipians.
The other sign reads that illegal abortions killed 12,000 women annually. We know that is a lie because Dr. Bernard Nathanson said he lied when giving that figure and the CDC numbers do not bear it out. At least get your facts straight ladies.

But the tragic case of that Indian woman in Ireland is proof that women all women need abortion on demand, or they’ll die.

This. Exactly.

And this. How many people have to expose themselves by saying abortion is a “moral good” before society gets that there are people who really do believe it? How many environmentalists have to make it quite plain that they view humanity as the scourge of the earth before we realize that supporting abortion is, to them, just another way to “save the planet”? (I’ve had that actual conversation with an environmentalist before, and I know she’s not alone in her thinking.)
One million lives a year are TAKEN in the U.S. alone by abortion. One million. If you think you can honestly say that abortion SAVES more lives than it snuffs out, there’s a rubber room with your name on it somewhere. But the whole argument for them really does come back to “my body, my choice.” Even IF they admit the preborn child is alive and is human, they don’t care, because they think they are “more human” and therefore they matter more – despite the fact that the preborn child has literally everything to lose – its entire existence.
Getting pregnant with the “wrong person” is a fantasy. Science has known for quite a while now how people of opposite genders conceive babies. Therefore, it’s a fantasy to say you had sex with the “wrong person” and didn’t and couldn’t anticipate the possibility of conceiving a child together with that “wrong person.” Saying you had sex with the wrong person is like saying you were birthed by the wrong mother, and your “right” mother is some fairy princess living in a candy castle in The Land of Elves and Unicorns.
I suppose it’s at least consistent with the pro abortion mentality to further fantasize that the unborn are not persons when you think that you can get pregnant by the “wrong person.”
Hint to the person writing the article: Pretty much the simplest way to know you’re might be conceiving a baby: you have to attach yourself to an opposite gender person in very intimate ways using your private parts and do a very happy dance together, and you may have noticed some very pleasant feelings accompanying this possible event of conception.
You might say that women are having sex with men they don’t want to have babies with, but you may never say that women are having sex with the “wrong person” when they are intimately attached to a man and doing the happy horizontal bop.
The degrees of humanity: who is more human than whom.
It’s like a feminist caste system by which every other sort of human is bound to pay for “showing up” at the wrong time.
Oh, you silly Progressives. We cannot start talking about gender equity until we first address the real issue that kills: HUMAN EQUITY.
This country is getting more and more demented by the minute. I am going to be visiting Panama next year — I have some acquaintances there who relocated and absolutely love it. If I like it, I might move there someday for good. I’ve always wanted to be an expat and this culture of death really sickens me.
They want us to accept abortion but if you dont they bash you for believing in God. uuuh yeah.
Well lets break down my body my choice. My hands and my brain are a part of my body. What if I choose to kill someone and use my hands on a knife or a gun to kill another person. My mind made my hands go to the killing tool and my hands pulled the trigger. Does not compute.
Former abortionist Dr Hill quit after reading in Deuteronomy..CURSED IS THE MAN WHO TAKETH REWARD TO SLAY AN INNOCENT PERSON. It kept haunting him! He put down his killing tools after the last abortion. He explained that the baby moved. He said “I finally realized I was a paid hit man.” “It was that day I said I will never perform another abortion.” He is now PL. God bless you Dr.Hill. Welcome to the side of light.
The former abortionist was Dr. McArther Hill…read his story if you ever can. The nightmares he suffered and finally running to a pastor “My God where are the souls of these children Ive killed?” Many of which were born larger than many in the NICU.

Never heard that story; thanks for posting it. I’ve often used that description when referring to abortionists: “paid hit men.” Reminded me of one of those “Crime Scene” documentary-type programs I saw which featured a case of an abortionist who murdered his wife. One scene had him alone in the interrogation room on hidden camera. He was acting bizarrely, like he was in an enclosed space, fighting off invisible probes and torture devices. He kept mumbling something about being unable to get out of the room. He had just been shown evidence of his guilt in the murder and the detectives then left him alone in the room to see how he would react, or if he’d call them back and confess after thinking about the damning evidence against him. It looked to me like he was trying to fake insanity. Maybe he was channeling nightmares he’d been having. It was super-freaky to watch. Anyone involved in the aborting of innocents has to have some psychological and spiritual damage, maybe even demon-possession. He was found guilty and given a life sentence.
Doc Kimble Ive seen that on forensic files where he became involved with the stripper and killed the wife!
Doc Kimble his name was doctor Hamilton. His wife was PC ..he murdered her on Valentines day.

Well heather, I’ve been busy talking to publishers about my forthcoming book on some of the leading lights of the anti-choice industry, and a few of their associated politicians.
I’m aware they might clamor and claw when it comes out but as you said, if it’s in a book it ain’t gossip! Edit that!
He surely has brain damage but probably blames Christians for his condition.

Dr. Calderone was an abortion rights supporter and founder of pro-choice org SIECUS.
Abortions were being done illegally by doctors before Roe v. Wade. I know this because our family has a doctor who did them before “Roe.” It was rumored that any time he botched an abortion the County Sheriff would “handle the details.” A hotel room and a bloody “throw down coat hanger” would be all the details the County Coroner would need to determine the woman died by a self-abortion attempt. Elected officials have been covering up for physicians who do abortions since the beginning of the American experiment in self-government. Everyone knew Doc Tr@%ler would do this. Even children knew his. I knew it. Women talk about these things. An abortmill in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin recently shut down. Doc Tr@%ler did abortions in Fond du Lac.
@JDC…that was so reality. @Doc Hamilton…I like shows like The First 48 and DrG. Foresic Files. I watched the entire story on Hamilton and many times they rerun it. Yep he was two timing his pro choice wife with a stripper. I believe he performed an abortion on the stripper. He can make excuses out the wazoo ..hes guilty. And yes they showed him acting like demons were in the room with him when cops left him alone. He was repeating “Help me please.” “No no no I didnt do it. Let me go.” Scooting his chair and acting crazy. One more baby killer out of business.
And Doc K. Im sure you wont be shocked when I tell you this man has plenty of moonbats claiming hes innocent! I cant bring myself to feel too much sympathy for the wife because she worked at the abortion clinic with him. She was loving her spoiled brat lavish lifestyle on the backs of dead babies. Well if the man can kill babies then he could kill his wife. Dateline says Hamilton is out of touch with reality. As for his supporters they just like him because he provided women with much needed health care. Yeah im sure the stripper aborted because she wouldnt be able to strip anymore. Yanno her figure would be destroyed. I had to get out of the comment section because the crazies were arguing about the blood spatter. AND of course just as abortion is brought up here it was brought up there. A woman/wife is dead at the hands of her husband. Also Doc K. I believe Dr Hill was practicing abortions back in the 70s. He became angry when another resident had started a saline abortion and before he put the saline in she asked him to stop the abortion. As she was being put to sleep she waved her arm at Dr Hill to try to get the resident to STOP. They proceeded and Dr Hill said he was so angry he ripped off his gloves and threw them on the floor. He now stands with Dr Anthony Levitano and other abortion workers who have quit. Looks like hes still in practice with a 5 star rating. Hes delivering babies! Way to go Dr Hill! His pastor assured him he will one day be in paradise with the children he had killed if he would stop performing abortions. Well thats what he did and he went back to church to love and serve the Lord.
heather: We’ve got an out-of-control abortdoc here in ATL named McBrayer. He went off on a lady in a road rage incident a couple years back; grabbed her out of her car and beat the stew out of her. He lives in a mansion in Buckhead and his wife and daughter were on “Rich Housewives of Atlanta,” (I think that’s the name of the show). Mansion looks like a Big House on the Plantation and most of his clients are black ladies. I think he’s separated now. His daughter works in the mill with him. Bad chemistry all around. Bad JuJu.
