What is amazing about this scene in the Bible is that Jesus was likely within the first week of gestation in Mary’s womb. Since Mary went in haste to her cousin Elizabeth after the Incarnation, Jesus was still an embryo by the time she arrived. Yet, even at that young age, his cousin John reacted to His presence.
The Feast of the Annunciation is March 25 (nine months before Christmas).
