FBI investigates mail fraud committed against pro-life group
Susie reported in (Prolifer)ations April 6 about the “at home abortion kit” mailer presumably sent from the Pro-Life Action League to scores of pro-lifers and pro-life groups across the country.
The FBI is now involved, as are postal authorities, investigating this federal offense of mail fraud. Fox News Chicago carried the story last night. Matt at PLAL reported:
The report, which ran on the 9 o’clock news, gave some great background on the fraud and gave Ann [Scheidler] time to explain why the hoax is disrespectful to everyone involved – even pro-choice women obtaining abortions!…
The mailer markets 1 at-home abortion kit for $400 or 3 for $1k. They are advertised to “break down the fetus into bio-waste in a mere ten minutes… [to] be disposed of down the toilet, down the drain, or into a compost heap because it is completely safe for the environment… up to the eighth month of pregnancy,” according to Corrina at PLAL.
The mail originated from Carol Stream, IL, a western suburb of Chicago. PLAL is located on Chicago’s north side.

How do these losers come up with these “bright ideas”?
Shows how sick our country is!
I don’t even understand the point of this hoax. I guess it would make more sense as a prank if the flyers were sent to pro-choice groups or the general public, but misrepresenting a pro-life organization to fellow pro-lifers is just stupid.
