Janeane Garofalo gets tea-peeved
I think what’s going on here is actress Janeane Garofalo is so tired of being called a hypocrite for taking money to appear on the popular conservative tv show, 24, she’s now overreacting to prove her liberal bonafides.
You’ve seen clips on the news, which were bad enough. Here is video of Garofalo’s entire interview on Keith Olbermann’s MSNBC show on April 16. She comes in at 2:53….

I suspect it is your hatred of righteousness that causes you to make your claim.
The unrighteous are proud. They make false claims about the pro life camp. The tea parties also gave the Gov of california the same message and a lot of white tax us to death politicians. So we know the racism claim is a lie.

I am not surprised. The reps from Kansas are wrong. They had less influence over her in their home state than tiller the killer did. In D.C. obama will have more power over her than her home sate friends. she is like Olbermensch and Garofolo. She is sold out to the left.
Well Sebelius is a Democrat, and about as radical a pro abort as Barry. Doesnt seem she will have any trouble getting confirmed by the whole senate.

95% of what I’ve heard from Rev. Wright is unobjectionable, and I’ve forgotten the stuff I did object to. There was nothing terribly shocking that I recall. (I can’t believe we’re talking about this again.)

Point well taken, but it doesn’t mean that I form close friendships or bring them into my family.
I have had, and do have, some close friendships with people who have much more radical political views than I do. Doesn’t make them bad people, but I do let them know I’m glad they’re not in power.

The biggest mistake you make when listening to a sociopath is not keeping in mind first and foremost that this person is a sociopath. Put simply, these people are master manipulators and liars. You disregard this at your own risk.
With O and Wright, Hal, the issue is whether O used Wright (and his church) to further his political career or whether he shared Wright’s views. I don’t know. I don’t have a crystal ball. I just don’t buy the argument that O was unaware of Wright’s views. It isn’t credible.
Mary, I doubt you can accurately diagnose someone from such a distance. Especially if the “facts” you’re relying on come from Fox News.

I wouldn’t like Obama any better if he were white. If we had elected Edwards, or Biden, trust me, we wouldn’t be praising their pro-sticking-scissors-in-children’s-skulls policies either. You might notice that we have great respect for black conservatives, like Clarence Thomas, and no respect for white liberals, like Clinton.
By the logic of Bystander and Danielle, we should like and respect all the policies and ideas of all black people, or else we are racist. Personally, to look at a person’s skin color before deciding whether I agree with them would be more racist, I think.
I also find it interesting that you don’t actually know the races of everyone on here. I certainly haven’t told you mine. If I were black, would my views be correct? If I were black and you thought I was wrong, would you be a racist?
