Hard to choose, but here were my top five favorite political cartoons this week…
by Jerry Holbert at Townhall.com…

Yes, Barack Obama has taken Big Bird under his wing as a vital campaign cause, to the consternation of Democrat operatives and even Sesame Street, which asked the Obama campaign to pull this ad, which it has thus far refused to do….

by Eric Allie at Townhall.com, on the topic that Big Bird doesn’t exactly need our money…

by Chip Bok at Townhall.com…

by liberal Dan Wasserman at GoComics.com, a sense of the presidential campaign as we enter the final three weeks…

and another view of the status of the presidential campaign from outside the country by ViewsAmerica at GoComics.com…

That first cartoon is awesome. It is the epitome of a Barack Obama presidency. Ignore the economy and jobs and the deficit and pick something like Big Bird to campaign on.
the obamateur spared GOD from the wrath of the democRAT delegates at their most recent convention.
Surely he can save Big Bird’s job.
Carroll Spinney, the actor who fills the suit, makes over $300k a year.
That almost as much as b o gets for not filling his empty suit.
In 2011, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting awarded “Sesame Street” $1.25 million through a National Program Service grant to PBS.
However, the show’s total operating revenue that year was $132 million, which included almost $50 million in licensing revenue for “Sesame Street” toys and other merchandise.
Sounds like the folks at Sesame Street have demonstrated they know what it takes to be successful.
Perhaps b o should look to them for economic advice instead of the puppets who now surround him.
Some funny stuff. I think the second one hits the nail on the head.
Back in 2008, Obama said that, “if you don’t have a record to run on, then you paint your opponent as someone people should run from. You make a big election about small things.” Now that the election has entered the homestretch, he is employing the very tactics he once denounced.

He actually said that? 8-O
Yeah, you’ve got a better chance of finding a needle in a haystack than to depend on the msm to give you an Obama gaffe.
New motivational poster about maintaining priorities – specifically to get everyone motivated for the up-coming million muppet march:

Perhaps the obamateur my yet save Big Bird.
He is too late to save the deceased United States ambassador to Tripoli, but it is not too late for b o to lay the blame for Christopher Stevens rape, murder and rape on someone or something else.
Getting rid of babies for “economic” reasons is moral, but getting rid of puppets for economic reasons is immoral?! Twisted world we live in.
Navi,
What’d you type to make the “big eyed” Emotiocon?
Right wingers don’t mind spending $1.5 trillion for the F-35 that isn’t needed, but $500 million for PBS we can’t afford.
Right wingers, nothing but hypocrites, mostly learned form their pathetic “Christian” churches.
kenthebirther, Republican hypocrites cut funding for embassy security.

You’re right. We should cut them both.
Right wingers, nothing but hypocrites, mostly learned form their pathetic “Christian” churches.
I wouldn’t know. I’m not religious myself.

Bandi, funding wasn’t the issue. The security was denied for political reasons, not financial reasons. Drink less Kool-Aid, please:

Although, I will say that excuse and attempted buck-passing is the second such instance I’ve seen in as many days. So…what’s the deal? Someone in a Soros office somewhere comes up with the new lie-meme, sends out the email, and you guys just start going around repeating it as often as you can and hoping the more you say it, the more people believe it?
