Stanek to testify for nationwide 20-week abortion ban

Sponsor to show reality of late-term abortions

Trent-FranksTomorrow pro-life Republican Congressman Trent Franks will hold a hearing in the Subcommittee on the Constitution and Civil Justice, where he is chairman, on the District of Columbia Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, of which he is lead sponsor.

And now that bill has grown by leaps and bounds. Reported the Washington Post today:

Dr. Koop opposed eugenic abortions at Christ Hospital

I was sad to learn Dr. C. Everett Koop passed away on February 25. Dr. Koop was President Ronald Reagan’s pro-life surgeon general. Read Dr. Koop’s touching obituary at World Magazine. I came to personally learn just how strongly pro-life Dr. Koop was in 1999. I had just publicly revealed that my employer, Christ Hospital, […]

At the pro-life summit earlier this month we heard from Stephanie Gray, the Gen Y founder of the Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform.

Many of the activist groups represented at the summit mentioned they were beginning to take the pro-life message to middle schools as well as high schools and colleges. They noted they are seeing pro-abortion indoctrination at younger ages.

Here is one of their tactics for both high school and middle school campuses.

Multiple mistakes about Obama and the Born Alive Act in new book, “The Amateur”

Edward Klein’s unauthorized biography of Barack Obama, The Amateur, was released yesterday.

While I appreciate that Klein devoted a chapter of his book, albeit only three pages, to Obama’s opposition as state senator to the Illinois Born Alive Infant Protection Act, he got it pretty much all wrong. You can read the chapter at the link above, but here is the relevant section:

In other words, those “thousands” of hospitals Romney is unwilling to defund all commit abortions

A media storm has erupted over Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s unwillingness to sign Susan B. Anthony List’s pro-life pledge. But I have yet to see any address the huge story Romney’s balk exposed. Right now thousands of hospital CEOs are holding their collective breath, hoping none will. In his June 18 National Review Online […]

Video: Abortion supporters cheer and do happy dance when mom enters clinic to abort

From the demonic Northern Illinois Women’s Center abortion mill in Rockford, IL, comes word of yet another sick and creepy incident. NIWC owner Wayne Webster is losing so much of business due to the mobile ultrasound unit parked near his clinic that on May 14 he brought in 2 older pro-abort women “sidewalk counselors” to […]

Tribute to Joe Scheidler

I really lament that I will not be able to attend Joe Scheidler’s tribute tonight. Joe was so supportive of me from the onset at Christ Hospital, not only leading protests there but also attempting to help the primary abortionist, a Catholic, understand the error of his ways.
