  • At Women’s Rights without Frontiers, Reggie Littlejohn shines a light on another problem in China – baby trafficking. 37 babies were recently rescued from a baby-selling ring:

According to CNN, human traffickers were recruiting pregnant women in the area willing to sell their babies and hid them in the factory until they gave birth. Then, after the women had their babies, they gave the newborns over to the traffickers and left.

A Chinese police official, Chen Shiqu, said that the incident is a “new criminal pattern” in which child traffickers take pregnant women to a specific place to give birth. Currently, police have 103 people in custody who are suspected of selling or buying children.

Boycott! Just say no to Girl Scouts cookies

2014-01-31_1627

Pro-lifers have been warning for years of the Girl Scouts’ fraternization with the abortion industry.

wendy-dBut it appears we have late-term abortion supporter Wendy Davis (pictured right) to thank for inadvertently providing the tipping point that has triggered the call for a nationwide boycott of the purchase of Girl Scout Cookies, called “CookieCott 2014.”

The Girl Scouts’ December 18 tweet heard round the wafer is still up, despite the Girl Scouts’ January 29 apology, which came six long weeks after the tweet but just nine convenient days before the launch of its annual cookie sale.

Gosnell verdict reached

Gosnell 416

Stanek wkend questions: Why the surge in violence? How do we stop it?

If you’re like me, you can’t dwell too long on the massacre of 20 school children yesterday (and six adults) at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.

As psychiatrist Dr. Keith Ablow of Fox News wrote, “Adam Lanza opened the door to a new kind of horror in America – the massacre of children.”

That’s not true, but I know what he was trying to say.

When Megyn Kelly was starting out in television, a prominent TV newswoman told her, “You’re going to need to choose: you can either have a family or you can be a major anchor.” Ms. Kelly – now a Fox News anchor…  decided to ignore her. “It was terrible advice,” she said…. Ms. Kelly, 41, is […]

TV coverage of Planned Parenthood sex trafficking sting

I reported yesterday that Planned Parenthood was too afraid declined to go on CNN with Lila Rose. Here are the back-to-back interviews. In the first one, Lila rocks… Here is the response by PP’s VP for Communications Stuart Shear, who attempted to divert the topic back to Lila, unsuccessfully I might add. What else could […]
