BREAKING: Yet another (sixth!) Michigan abortion clinic closing

2013-04-11_1001

Word came yesterday morning that the American Family Planning abortion clinic in Dearborn, Michigan, is shutting its doors as of this Friday.

Sign: “For Lease, Absolutely NO Abortion Clinics”

I’m breaking my Saturday rule not to post anything not urgent, because this is so awesome. Click to enlarge… Lynn Mills just sent that photo to me. The sign was posted by the pro-life businessman who bought late-term abortionist Reginald Sharpe’s mill in Livonia, Michigan. Isn’t it great?

Ambulance called to hack abortionist’s new workplace

This past Saturday, March 23, an ambulance was called at 6p to Summit Women’s Center abortion clinic in Detroit, Michigan, according to Citizens for a Pro-Life Society.

Pro-lifers on the scene, who had spoken with her earlier, indicated the woman placed into the ambulance on a gurney had come to the clinic that day for a second-trimester abortion.

Pro-life businessman purchases abortion clinic with sordid history

imageEarlier this month quack late-term abortionist Reginald Sharpe was forced to close his Women’s Advisory Center abortion clinic in Livonia, Michigan, when the building went into foreclosure – this on the heels of Sharpe filing for bankruptcy last October.

If the walls of this 32-yr-old building could talk, their tales would certainly horrify most listeners, since the structure has suffered a sordid array of abortionist owners. Up-front thanks to pro-life investigator Lynn Mills for her research on this post.

$10,000 offered to surrogate to abort her baby

“They were both visibly upset. The mother was crying,” she remembers. “They said they didn’t want to bring a baby into the world only for that child to suffer. … They said I should try to be God-like and have mercy on the child and let her go.” “I told them that they had chosen […]

  • USA Today picked up the story of Jennifer Morbelli’s post-abortion death.
  • The Stir’s Adriana Velez is the first pro-choicer that I’ve seen attempt to comment on Morbelli’s death (quite a difference from Savita Halappanavar). A search at the RH Reality Check web site for Morbelli returns 0 results.Velez thinks one must be “a heartless ideologue” to protest the clinic whose practices led to Morbelli’s death. One wonders if she felt the same way regarding the protests after Halappanavar’s death.

  • The Pope has tweeted support for the March for Life.
  • Gerard Bradley discusses the paradox of Personhood and how the Supreme Court’s refusal to address the most foundational question could resurface:

Roe’s shaky edifice is built on a studied and stubborn refusal to address the foundational question about who the law is for. This reticence is all the more remarkable because none of the seven justices in Roe’s majority seems to have believed that the unborn really are persons. They reckoned nonetheless that the constitutional law they produced could not be grounded in any answer — theirs, yours, mine — to that philosophical question. Their reticence was supposed to credential the Court’s judgment as somehow uniquely objective and thus supremely authoritative.

  • The Crescat discusses her abortion experience:
The glass container was half full and splattered with blood. Even the tube that fed into the container was crusted with blood….

All those graphic photos you’ve ever seen of tiny dismembered arms and legs are accurate. Only this wasn’t just one set of tiny arms and legs… this looked like all the babies that had been aborted that day. All together in one glass container….

They hadn’t even bothered to clean the equipment between patients and I suddenly realized they had every intention of using the same filthy equipment on me.
