Notre Dame pro-life students want our help for 1st protest planned
Eric Scheidler of Pro-Life Action League sent out this alert yesterday, the first public action being taken by the pro-life Notre Dame student group NDResponse.com, and their first public request for the pro-life community’s help. Please attend if you’re anywhere close. This debut of pro-life objection to the ND administration’s plan to honor Barack Obama at its May 17 commencement must be strong.
Dear Jill,
Ever since word broke that Barack Obama is to give the commencement address at the University of Notre Dame, pro-lifers across the country have been eager to speak out against this scandal.
Notre Dame President Fr. John Jenkins has been flooded with phone calls, e-mails, letters and faxes urging him to rescind the Obama invitation.
NOW comes our first opportunity to publicly demonstrate ON CAMPUS against Barack Obama’s appearance there.
Notre Dame Response is hosting a pro-life rally this Sunday, April
5 – Palm Sunday – at 2 p.m. at the Dome, after the Noon Mass at the Basilica….
EVENT: Pro-Life Rally at Notre Dame
WHEN: Sunday, April 5 at 2 p.m.
WHERE: Outside the Main Building

Pro-life lawyer Harold Cassidy will be the keynote speaker for the rally, which will also include speeches by members of Notre Dame Response, and a Rosary. More details here.
If you live within a few hours drive of South Bend, IN, I encourage you to make the trip for this first public demonstration against the Barack Obama commencement scandal.
Meanwhile, keep your calendar clear for the weekend of May 15-17.
Many plans are in the works for what may well be the biggest pro-life protest in a generation.

They should rescind his invitation. Otherwise it will be a huge slap in the face to Notre Dame.

When Obama starts to speak, place the tape on your mouth (symbolizing “the unborn, those without a voice” message). How can this be happening at Notre Dame? How could people not understand how gravely wrong this is? Would we allow a terrorist to come and speak to Notre Dame? Not that i’m comparing Obama to a terrorist but how is it any different? A terrorist is a regular person except they kill themselves, others, and specifically target Americans. Obama too is a regular person except he allows americans to kill each other every day by his supporting abortion agenda, targeting the unborn. How is it any different. I cannot stand how the media downplays this issue.

IF they really reported on it and dissected it like all good reporters should…the “A” word will
come out and they will be FORCED to discuss the issue on air.

Father Jenkins shows confidence in Obama vs the Catholic Bishops and Cardinals.
I question his authenticity. Many gays have infiltrated the priesthood. Some pledge celibacy and are truly faithful holy men. Some are pedophile priest imposters. Some are active liberal gays pushing the gay agenda, again priest imposters. The true colors shown themselves by Catholic priests who were warned about the death wish Obama (by Obama himself) prior to his election and those priest did not encourage their flock to vote PRO-LIFE, anti-euthanasia, (Obama is pro-war evidenced by advancements in Afghanistan).
If Jenkins disobeys the Bishops he should be forced to step down. In my opinion he is a fake priest.
Scandal? I don’t hear any scandal. The real scandal is that the bishops and the vatican knew about abuse as far back as the mid 20th century and did nothing. Now given that knowledge, ND is lucky that Obama isn’t ordering the Department of Education to strip ND of its accreditation
