Protest Obama Tuesday: Macomb Community College, MI
Citizens for a Pro-Life Society will picket President Obama TOMORROW at Macomb Community College in Warren, MI….
Obama is scheduled to deliver a speech on campus at 3p EST, likely regarding his plan for community college reform according to Inside Higher Ed.
There are not that many better places to picket, where Obama’s hypocrisy will be on full display – the most pro-abortion president ever feigning concern for the very young people he fully supported aborting.
Furthermore, college-age women are at highest risk of aborting.
CPLS urges pro-lifers in the area to come witness to the sanctity of human life at Macomb from 1:30-3:30p.
The campus is located at 14500 E. 12 Mile Road. Picketers will assemble at the corner of E. 12 Mile Rd. and Hayes Ave. and are encouraged to bring signs with the following possible messages:
“Obama supports the killing of the unborn” “Obama denies the right to life” “Obama: Human life is sacred” “Obama: Abortion is torture, too”
Additional signs will be available, including those of abortion victims.
Jill Stanek is a nurse turned speaker, columnist and blogger, a national figure in the effort to protect both preborn and postborn innocent human life.
Sorta like when pro-lifers feign support for babies they later refer to as “welfare cheats”. Or babies they later happily bomb in times of war. There’s plenty of hypocrisy to go around, lady.

This comment makes no sense. Supporting abortion rights is not inconsistent with supporting young people in college.
Pro-abortion???? He is actually PRO CHOICE. You really should try and word it correctly. He isn’t going around telling girls to get abortions. I think girls need to be more careful and NOT get pregnant. There are ways of NOT getting pregnant. I think we need to focus on that issue!!

The concept is that Obama would have supported any one of them being aborted when their parents were pregnant.
Furthermore, college students are far too pressured to abort in favor of their “future”… It is in no way supportive. It tells young women, especially, that the only way for them to find happiness is to make lots of money. That children are a burden which take away from our options and our happiness. The choice to abort is a shackles around the wrists of women of childbearing age. Worse yet, it’s a shackles in the disguise of freedom.
Women who are raped and become pregnant shouldn’t have to deal with a bunch of ignorant idiots who are screaming at them not to abort satan’s spawn.

Only a tiny percentage of abortions are for rape. Also, our society should be as outraged and repulsed by the act of rape itself as it is the rare pregnancy that results. The terrible abuse and humiliation rape victims still suffer and the lenient treatment of sex offenders indicates otherwise.

May I remind you it was abortion advocates who were chomping at the bit to get poor women on the abortion tables so as to save the taxpayers a bundle. Also, the only time abortion advocates expressed any “concern” for the poor was when medicaid stopped funding abortions or poor women couldn’t access abortion for other reasons.

Why not just say he’s pro-abortion? He does support abortion, right? He doesn’t want any laws to stop it. If a politician were to oppose all domestic violence laws, would you say he is simply “pro-choice” on domestic violence?

I don’t understand how a person can be in favor of abortion… Do you honestly think that what is in a woman’s belly is not a human? A living, breathing human? You’re sick if you don’t think so. A woman who is raped and becomes pregnant is a sad thing… but why should she kill a life because another ruined hers? Shouldn’t she stop being so selfish and let that life live and be happy? I know I got pregnant at a young age… I can’t really support her by myself… I swallowed my pride and moved in with my folks and now I have the most beautiful baby girl who is happy and just an absolute blessing. She came at the worst time and yet at the best time because she has changed my life in a greater way.
Also, why abort? did you know that “option” is in the word “adoption”… HELLLO??? are you paying attention?

Some do say it is a baby. But it is “dependent” on the woman, so you can kill it. Some say it’s a baby, but it is not sentient, so you can kill it. Some say it’s a baby, but there is something called Bodily Domain, so you can kill it. They do what they can to justify the evil. We all know it’s a baby.
The mental gymnastics and play on words can get very tiring.

I’m assuming everyone on here is also opposed to gay marriages and other such religiously invoked arguments. Separation of church and state! Let the woman make decisions to best suit what they believe in and leave Obama alone.

Did you know Dr.King called for the Montgomery bus boycott from the pulpit of his church?

I was at Macomb Community College-MCC and it was disgusting at how the protesters were treated. MCC made all protesters stay about .5 mile from actual event. I am 50 years old and my father and I were trying respectfully to pass out a brochure to find out how my son died in Ghana while serving in US Navy. I even encouraged people in line to enjoy the speech inside. I was forced to go into protest area by 4 mounted Macomb County Sheriffs, AKA “brown shirts”. We must have money to burn if we can afford 4 sheriffs to handle me. A 50 and 70 year old man are moved because of a “private party”. There is no freedom of speech at MCC!
