Gotta say, i’m not looking forward to part 2.
I’m not looking forward for part 2 either….this girl needs some help.
These women make my stomach turn.
But remember, kids, abortion is a terrible, heart-wrenching decision that women AGONIZE OVER FOR DAAAAAYS.
My posterior.
Ak Krystal,
You said it. Did you check out the link to her profile? Just add the http://

I had to chuckle a bit that this girl’s ambition is to make abortion not a “dirty” word. It’s been almost 40 years and even pro-aborts will not call themselves “pro-abortion.” They hide behind the term “pro-choice.” Hey, I’m pro-choice, which is why I’m pro-life. I believe every woman should have the freedom to choose to give her baby life. The tragic irony is that so many women feel like they have no “choice” and so must then abort.
From the abortion story:
I was 24-years-old, still reeling from the shock of my father’s sudden death, and had just moved to New York City where, to my **** luck, all the paid writing jobs had recently disappeared.
It sounds like she’s been through a lot, and she has my utmost sympathy, but I have to wonder how easy she expected the job market to be? I know that it’s like a pilgrimage — graduate college, move to NYC, make it after all — but I wonder what she expected, having just moved to a new and highly competitive city. You don’t usually start off doing what you want to do. That’s not crummy luck, it’s reality; I hate the sense of entitlement that blames bad luck for a fairly common situation. I grew up here, had several years of networking in my industry under my belt, and still spent 6 months in “conference booking” at a corporate investment firm, to pay the bills while I tried to figure my life out — the most miserable job of my life. The choice between a job I dislike and a job I like is a choice I am lucky to be in a position to make at this point — not a choice I somehow deserve. And while I was working there, in what were still “up” years for that industry, I saw dozens, hundreds of highly educated college graduates come in, interview for entry-level positions, and never get called back. That’s the way it goes.
I have a strange reaction to these situations. When I encounter someone who thinks living in NYC will be like watching Friends (and even Rachel started out as a waitress!) I feel overprotective, like I want to cushion them from the depressing and often boring reality; but a part of me also just wants to say, “Grow up.” Maybe I’m just a jaded New Yorker but there is a small part of me that feels like saying, “This city does not owe you the fulfillment of your teenage dreams simply because you had the tenacity to take the first step towards achieving them.”
Mr. Alexandra moved to NYC to be an actor. Shockingly enough, he moved here at a time when there were few acting jobs — as if there is any other time. He’s a teacher now. That’s not bad luck, it’s life.
Hm maybe I need my morning coffee. In all honesty, I wish I knew this girl — I would love to talk to her IRL. She seems interesting.
Regarding the Washington Post article:
-“Constant negative energy”, well, what kind of energy do you expect from killing babies and dead babies?
-It’s not a dirty word, call it what it is: MURDER OF INNOCENT BABIES at the request of THEIR OWN MOTHERS!!
-If this is such a safe procedure, why do ALL med students need training on managing the compications from abortion?
-“…the first of eight people killed in clinic-related violence in the past 16 years” Our tax dollars are being spent to protect abortionist over 8 deaths in 16 years. More children and teachers have died in schools that this and we are not providing federal marshalls in the schools. You figure at least $#100,000 to provide a federal marshall a year for these abortionist, don’t you think that it’s wasteful?
-ONLY 1% of the 1.2 million abortions are late term abortions. ONLY, ONLY!! That is 10,000 babies a year, 10,000 babies!! How many couples are waiting for a baby to be there own. Please can’t you give up 18 more weeks of your life (20 weeks plus 18-to a full term birth of 38 weeks) for the life of YOUR OWN FLESH AND BLOOD.
-The myth of thousands of dead young women as a result of back alley abortions continues. IT IS SIMPLY NOT TRUE. Read ‘The Hand of God’ by Bernard Nathanson. He and another NARAL founder MADE UP THOSE NUMBERS. They are simply lies!! Even though abortion was illegal, doctors did perform them. Even Judy Garland had one.
From the Abortion Story:
She says she has the right to others stories about their unplanned pregnancies? Who is this self centered woman Does she even know what rights are?
Just one more contraception failure, and one more death. So sad.
So she doesn’t want abortion to be a dirty word?
Did she ever stop to question why it still is a dirty word?
Maybe if we decree that “rape” is not a dirty word then the act of sexual assault will gain some respectability as well.
Makes about as much sense.
It’s interesting she mentioned her ex boyfriend’s ex girlfriend’s emotional reaction. Perhaps there was a reason Ms Ex had issues after her abortion. Something called a conscience, perhaps?
It’s also really sad that she didn’t want to burden her ex boyfriend with having to deal with possible emotions surrounding the killing of his child.
The whole thing is just pathetic.
