On the heels of the provocative “Black Children are an Endangered Species” billboard campaign running in Atlanta comes another, this one in Poland.
The Polish arm of the Center for Bio-Ethical Reform may have a chance to display this sign on a huge billboard (74 ft x 32 ft) in the center of a large city in Poland. Click to enlarge…

Translation: Abortion for Polish women introduced by Hitler on March 9, 1943
Adding to the interest in the timing of this display is that March 8 is a special day for feminists in Poland. Each year on this day they organize marches and demand abortion without limits.
The sign is true, by the way. 1st, according to Wapedia

Until 1932, abortion was banned in Poland without exceptions. In that year a new Penal Code legalized abortion strictly when there were medical reasons and, for the 1st time in Europe, when the pregnancy resulted from a criminal act. Except during the German occupation during the 2nd World War, this law was in effect from 1932 to 1956.

Then, according to Wiki Answers:

Did Hitler support abortion?
Yes. In fact, he was the 1st major Western leader to allow abortion even for reasons of the stress of the mother – thus making it legal in nearly every circumstance. His idea was to limit the growth of populations (lessen them, actually) in the Eastern territories where he wanted the German empire to expand – while increasing pregnancies and births to “Aryan” couples.

“In view of the large families of the native populations,” Hitler asserted, “it could only suit us if girls and women there had as many abortions as possible.” Hitler also personally announced that he “would personally shoot” any “such idiot” who “tried to put into practice such an order” (forbidding abortion) in the occupied Eastern territories.
Israeli doctor Dr. Tessa Chelouche has done a major academic study on this subject (“Doctors, Pregnancy, Childbirth and Abortion during the Third Reich”) and writes, “Abortion was used as a weapon of mass destruction in Eastern Europe,” where “it has been estimated that tens of thousands of Polish and Russian women were compelled to abort not because of health reasons, but because of Nazi dogma.”

Here is a direct quote from Hitler [1942 policy statement]:
“In view of the large families of the Slav native population, it could only suit us if girls and women there had as many abortions as possible. We are not interested in seeing the non-German population multiply….
We must use every means to instill in the population the idea that it is harmful to have several children, the expenses that they cause and the dangerous effect on woman’s health….
It will be necessary to open special institutions for abortions and doctors must be able to help out there in case there is any question of this being a breach of their professional ethics.”
