Breaking: “Deem and pass” dead
Good news. They can’t hide from their votes. From the Washington Post:
The House Rules Committee continued its session on the 3rd floor of the Capitol, where the panel is tasked with setting the terms of Sunday’s floor debate. House leaders have decided to take a separate vote on the Senate version of the health care bill, rejecting an earlier, much-criticized strategy that would have permitted them to “deem” the measure passed without an explicit vote….

These people have no scruples. BHO would have crapped on the constitution and called he Demon Pass nothing to worry about and just a procedural move. If they could have gotten away with it they would have. I was actually hoping they would use it cause I wanted to see Mark Levin kick their asses in court! But I am glad the American people, and especially Mark Levin, were spared the grief.
Almighty God in Heaven,
You are Holy, and You are Just. You hate evil. You hate injustice. You abhor the shedding of innocent blood.
May Your Spirit rest heavy on our Congressmen and Senators this evening. May they feel the weight, the awesome responsibility, the gravity of the decisions they are about to make.

Thank you for this prayer Ed, my brother in Christ. I agree totally with you in prayer in Jesus name. Amen. Jesus, the name that is above every name and the name that every knee will bow before and every tongue will confess.
My family was visiting today and we were able to bombard heaven with prayers against this bill. We prayed against the lies that have been and are being told, (“there is no federal funding for abortion in this deal”), the deals that have been and are being cut, (the ride in Air Force One, the appointment of a judicial seat to relatives, the Nebraska kickback) the arms that have been and are being twisted (threats to put up another democratic party candidate against them if they don’t vote yes, threats they will never get appointed to head up any House or Senate committees, etc.), and the intimidation that is being used. We prayed God will expose every plot and every deal made and bring the corrupt ones to justice.
I prayers of my family join with your prayers my brother’s and sisters in Christ.
