He is risen!
Happy Easter!
Following are my 2 favorite Easter songs, both by Keith Green. There is no fancy video behind the stupendous audio because Keith died in a small plane accident in 1982 (at age 28, along with 2 of his 4 children), long before such things were devised commonplace.
But no video is needed to be uplifted by these inspiring words and music, bursting with the promise Jesus brought when rising from the dead on the 3rd day, today!…
The Easter Song…
The Victor…

You folks all taking a break from trying to strip women of their reproductive rights on this fine Easter Sunday? I don’t regularly attend church services but I did today. It was nice to see real, loving Christians interacting with each other in the spirit of fellowship rather than the politically-motivated firebrands who spew hatred in the name of Jesus that are so often attracted to the anti-choice movement.
Anne, I’m so happy to read you went to church today. Good news, indeed! God bless you this wonderful Easter morn.
He is RISEN!
He is risen! Love for all humans! All are made in the image and likeness of God – our Lord, the risen Christ!
The newest command of our Lord – to love thy neighbor as thyself.
Wishing loving fellowship with all of our neighbors – including our smallest brothers and sisters in the womb.
God is so GOOD!
And as Jill says, God bless you! (everyone!)
God is life. God loves life. God is pro-life.
The resurrection is evidence of this.
He is Risen and that is why we are pro-life.
Ask for the blood to cleanse your sins, by repentance. What better season, but this one.
You may not have another time to do so….
Shalom
John
The tomb was found empty! Christ is alive and He lives in me!
What a Luminous Day! Thanks to Jill and others here for what they have already accomplished and what they will continue to accomplish. The Holy Spirit is working overtime and has led us here.
I would like to share a couple verses from a song I heard in my church:
I will come to you in the silence
I will lift you from all your fear
You will hear my voice
I claim you as my choice
be still and know I am here
Do not be afraid, I am with you
I have called you each by name
Come and follow me
I will bring you home
I love you and you are mine
Our Savior has Risen! Alleluia! Alleluia!
Happy Easter!

So cute!
“Do not abandon yourselves to despair.
We are the Easter people and hallelujah is our song.”
-Pope John Paul II
Anne,
Nice to hear that you went to Church today. Keep going, and may the Lord bless you with the gift of seeing Him in all persons.
He is risen indeed!
Happy Easter, everyone. :)

Anne,
“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president.”
“The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince.
The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.”

I read that on a blog by a poster by that name so he gets the attribution.
Humanists and humanism are responsible for more human caused death and destruction than all the religious wars combined and there was not a single shred of redemption in any of the blood that was shed, save the blood of the ONE
whose blood can save.
Ironically, it was religious people who were the instruments of death.
I pray that the Savior, whom we all killed, will bless you with a Spirit of wisdom and revelation that you may know the TRUTH and the TRUTH will set you free from the bondage to death that has plagued you all your life.

happy Easter to you and your family too Jill.
A Blessed Easter, Jill! I adore(d) Keith Green!! I still listen to him often — we need a Keith Green revival!! He is one of the few singers that makes me drop to my knees in prayer. Have you ever met Mindy (?) is that his wife’s name?
(I currently have one of his tapes — yes, cassette in my car, as it has no cd player — so I pull out my GOOD old stuff to listen to. ;-))
God Bless!
I hope it is okay to borrow your picture to post on my FB page. If not (I’ll check back) – I’ll remove it… :D
Elizabeth, sure. And Green’s wife’s name is Melody, altho maybe Mindy is a nickname. No, I’ve not met her.
Thanks, all, for the blessings wished and prayed for Easter. It was a good day… a good weekend.
God bless.

Hmm…you’re not even seeing the irony here, are you? Anyway, keep watching the “real, loving Christians”; perhaps you’ll learn some desperately needed lessons from them :)
Anyway, happy Easter to everybody who celebrates it :)
HE IS RISEN INDEED!!
I see the trolls came out even on Easter Sunday.
Wow. So glad you went to church on Easter Sunday Anne. I pray that the God of peace will come into your heart so you will stop aligning yourself with the forces of death & violence in the womb, the most dangerous place for a human baby today inside his mother’s womb.
Jesus said “I am come that you might have LIFE, and have it more abundantly. Poor Anne duped by the pro-death, “Dead Babies R Us” crowd. Virgin Mary would be a prime target an unplanned pregnancy in the middle of a repressive, dictatorial Roman occupied regime. Her “reproductive right to choose” would have trumped the right to life of our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. Sounds like the perfect case for Planned Parenthood to step in and rescue her from her unplanned pregnancy, doesn’t it? Oh but the PC church Anne attends believes only the wanted and planned babies should escape the Herod of PP who’s mission is to weed out the “unfit human weeds”. Yipes!

I was thinking the same thing about the Virgin Mary last night when I couldn’t sleep.
Mary was young, unmarried, poor and probably hadn’t started her college education yet either! Yipes indeed.
Thanks Mary (and Mom) for knowing the Choice to have a child begins at conception.
God Bless.
Yes Praxedes, I am so glad that Mary and my mom chose LIFE. “LIFE what a beautiful, choice.” I sure hope that poor Anne is glad her mom chose life, wouldn’t it be awful if she isn’t. Too bad if she does not celebrate her mother’s “choice” to give her life which would have been fatal for her, just like it is for all of the 1.3 million American babies. Over 50 million mutilated, dismembered and dead babies what a God-awful “choice”. Heard someone say “For every abortion to be “successful, a baby has to die”. God help our nation.
I love Keith Green’s music … what a writer and singer.
