Pro-life stalwart Star Parker running for Congress

Star Parker, the post-abortive former welfare mother-turned-activist, has made the decision to run for CA’s 37th congressional district.
In her April 12 Townhall.com column, Star explained her reasons…
I’ve often been approached to run for public office. However, I always deferred because I felt I could make the greatest difference delivering my message as a free agent, outside the formal structure of politics.
But things have changed and now I’ve decided to run…
I’m challenging a Black Caucus incumbent in a district that political pundits rate “safe” for Democrats.
But this year no Democrat representing low income Americans should feel safe peddling the same plantation policies that already have produced our broken schools, broken families, and broken spirits. Now they’re bringing these bankrupt ideas to the whole country.
Even CA Senator Barbara Boxer recently admitted that this year no seat is safe. Will we resign ourselves to an America where freedom and prosperity are distant memories and where 40% out-of-wedlock births and abortion as birth control are our new social norms?
I won’t. It’s why I’m stepping into this race.

Tellingly, Parker does not appear to be concerned with appeasing big labor and explained her fundraising strategy. Parker stated that she needs:
“500 people to each get 50 friends to give $50 dollars.”

What a fresh face for California! Being post-abortive, Parker may be able to convince women (and men, why not?) that abortion isn’t the panacea it’s made out to be. God bless!

WooHooo!!! Go Star!! She is awesome people. You have to read her books “Uncle Sam’s Plantation”, “White Ghetto” and “Pimps, Whores and Welfare Brats” if you haven’t they are great. I heard her speak at a pro-life conference. I am going to go to the website and donate. Best news I have heard all month. Pray for Star prolifers that God will protect her and that she will win this race so she can stand for truth and LIFE. The word of God says “Righteousness exalt a nation but sin is a reproach to any people.”
Praise the Lord. Will be praying for you. We need people like you in Congress.
I do not consider myself a one issue voter, but any candidate that allows innocent children to be killed will not get my vote unless there is no anti abortion candidate to choose. I wrote about this issue on my blog at the following:
