2:11p: Election results will start rolling in at 6p EST tonight from Kentucky and parts of Indiana.
Where should pro-lifers go to learn results of elections that are important to our issue?
Susan B. Anthony List will be tracking 90 races.
And National Right to Life will be keeping an eye on the most competitive races.
I also think the pro-abort group EMILY’s List website will be an interesting place to visit tonight.
If you are aware of any other sites to watch, please let us know in the comments section.

May God guide you, America and Americans – we’re watching keenly and with affection from the other side of the Atlantic as you exercise your freedoms!
Florida District 24 is my stomping grounds. According to Susan B. Anthony’s list, Suzanne Kosmas is a key takedown while elevating Sandy Adams. So I’ve done my part. ;-)
http://www.LifeNews.com will have comprehensive results and coverage.
I think this video is a little taste of what God sees and hears when his children sing and pray to Him. For this reason we must view abortion as a direct insult to His divine intention and will. Be blessed today as we celebrate the crushing defeat of the Party of Death; Democrats – direct, arrogant and rebellious opposers of the will of God. This one’s for you Obama.

Pro-Life and pre-born Americans – wishing you all the best from Aotearoa, New Zealand!
CNN projecting that Republicans have taken control of the House of Representatives.
Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
I’ve always liked 538 for polling and election data. http://fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/11/02/live-blogging-election-night/
We should watch the Colorado Personhood amendment closely. It was defeated 27-73 in 2008. Chances are it isn’t going to win, but it’s very important to watch because it represents the consistent pro-life position. It would extend to unborn children the same rights that we all enjoy, it would have the effect of outlawing the birth control pill, and Colorado is a state that Obama won.
http://www.ballotpedia.org/wiki/index.php/Colorado_Fetal_Personhood,_Amendment_62_%282010%29
Amendment 62 wouldn’t ban the birth control pill, actually. That’s a pro-abortion scare tactic.
Kathy Dahlkemper’s gone! Woohoo!!
My state legislature (we have one house, we’re the only state with a unicameral) in my district, we have to suffer through another four years of a pro-abort. :(
My US congressman was reelected (Jeff Fortenberry, a great voice for the unborn and a father of….5 girls at last count).
In two years, we have to give the boot to our Democrat US Senator, Benedict Arnold Nelson. Wish us luck!
After looking through the “opposition” arguments to Amendment 62 in the link provided by Austin, I am simply blown away by how utterly TERRIBLE the counter-arguments are. It is more clear than ever to me how people will accept anything, ANY piece of mindless garbage to keep their sacred right to kill their unborn. Seriously, these people should have asked me to come up with counter-arguments against Amendment 62 because I could have come up with waaaay more compelling arguments than “they are attacking Black women’s capacity to parent and make health care decisions.”
Seriously, I am half tempted to offer a cash prize to groups like RH Reality Check if they can just put forward an argument against abortion that isn’t question begging. Just give me arguments that don’t assume without argument the very opposite of what we’re claiming. Here, I’ll help you out by giving you one. “A fetus is not a person (and hence should not be protected under the law) because it lacks self-awareness.” Great! Okay, now, can RH Reality check read this paragraph and regurgitate back what I have written in quotes? Can they copy and paste that and put it out in a public statement against pro-lifers? Or because it doesn’t beg the question, does it violate their nature to use an argument like that and hence is a logical contradiction, like making a square circle? Sadly, I fear it is the later.
Anyway, things are not looking good for Amendment 62. But I am very proud of all those in Colorado who fought so hard to get the word out about this. It is not all for naught.
I’m thus far unhappy with the elections where I’m from- bonds for libraries and schools and likely the hospital have been voted down. :(
I don’t know who’s pro-life or pro-choice. I’m disappointed in the severe let-down for children in schools.
I’m also a little (well, more than a little) concerned that Tom “Let’s Put Landmines Along the U.S./Mexico Border” Mullins is ahead thus far. He scares me. o.O
Benishek takes the seat Stupak shamed:
http://theblogprof.blogspot.com/2010/11/tea-party-backed-dan-benisheck-takes.html
Tom Mullins is great, I’m glad he’s winning. A true pro-lifer.
Johnson and Walker in WI!! WOOHOO!!
With 31% reporting - Defines “person” as starting at “beginning of the biological development” is winning in Colorado with 72%!!!
So long Black Bart!! The revenge of the babies strikes Stupak
Kristen, it looks like personhood was yet again defeated…..I typed colorado personhood into google and msnbc is saying it was defeated. :(
We need to ban liberalism-teaching-about-humanity from schools and start showing 3D ultrasounds as part of science class.
Liz –
My fault. I totally read it wrong to begin with. Too many results to look at. :(
Down goes Grayson!
Down goes Grayson!
Down goes Grayson!
Can anyone say “Orlando Tea Party”?
Taliban Who?
Knuckle-dragging What?
Die How?
Looking for some cardboard boxes right now, Mr. Grayson, sir.
*does happy dance*
I see Ken Buck is taking the lead in the Colorado senate race. I was listening to liberal talk radio today and they said this was THE guy they didn’t want to win. I don’t know much about him but WooHoooo I am looking forward to finding out if he can hold on!
Hey, We just dumped the rabidly pro-abort Democrat Representative Michael McMahon!!!!!!!!!!
(Michael Grimm wins!!)
Sic semper tyranis!!
Just about a clean sweep for Republicans in Arizona.
Congratulations Governor Jan Brewer who stood up to the megelomaniac Obama.
Harry Mitchell….you’re outa there….and good riddance you Liberal hack.
Anxiously awaiting the returns for Star Parker.
And Sean Duffy, gorgeous father of five, won in Wisconsin.
Oh my, oh my, oh my.
Brownback won easily as governor of Kansas.
Uh-Oh…it is tied up again in the Colorado senate race. Brownback, like Buck, is against legalization of abortion in all cases except when the life of the mother is in danger.
Ron Johnson and Scott Walker. What an embarrassment. Guess I’m gonna have to start telling people I’m from Minnesota when I visit the civilized states on the coasts.
Senator elect Ron Johnson, did you hear his acceptance speech Joan. He is the anti-Obama.
Looks like a good win for the more extreme elements of the republican party.
If I was the democrats I’d just sit back and wait for some of those people to display their true abilities, competencies and attitudes. That will be the democrats best election campaign for next time. And Obama will hose it in for the next presidential election.
Cranium,
What extreme positions does Ron Johnson have? Are you referring to his fiscal restraint or his taste for smaller government or perhaps it his extreme focus on private sector job creation?
“Looks like a good win for the more extreme elements of the republican party.”
To be fair, most of the really wacky Republican candidates like Christine O’Donnell, Carl Palodino, Sharron Angle, Linda McMahon, and probably Joe Miller all got shut down pretty easily.
“I think Senator Paul Ryan will do a good job as a lead on the new majority budget commitee.”
Of course, first he’d have to be elected senator.
I didn’t say all republicans were extreme truthseeker. And it isn’t just the ‘tea party’ candidates that I consider extreme.
What! Christine didn’t win? Heck, there goes the funding for the wiccan festival :-)
And Reid winning is actually probably a good thing for Republicans in 2012. Reid and Obama and Obamacare are the trifecta that are gonna guarantee to keep sticking it to the American people and they will be even angrier in 2012. Obama and Reid are conceited and they don’t listen to the people. Did you hear Reid’s acceptance speech. It was all about him amd his win. 2012 can’t come soon enough. Bring it on please. At least our economy has a fighting chance now with the Republicans in charge of Congress. And it is nore likely that the Bush tax-breaks will be extended for everybody. The Senate won’t have the balls to vote against it if Congress passes it. And I think Senator Paul Ryan will do a good job as a lead on the new majority budget commitee. I hope they can somehow defund Obamcare and table it till 2012 so we can get rid of Obamacare before it gets too many hooks in. What a pig Obamacare is. It is the gift that will just keep on giving to the conservatives candidates.
I said:
“I think Senator Paul Ryan will do a good job as a lead on the new majority budget commitee.”
Joan said: Of course, first he’d have to be elected senator.
I say, Thanks for catching that Joan. It should have read Congressman Ryan not Senator Ryan.
Sorry, Joan.
Well not really.
JOHNSON!
WALKER!
Cranium:
Anything right of a rabid Liberal Leftist like yourself appears to be extreme.
Face it, you are grossly self-deceived.
what pro aborts think is an extreme position: valuing human life from CONCEPTION to NATURAL death….
At least we FINALLY have a true voice for the unborn in the Senate in Senator Elect Kelly Ayotte.
Anyone know how Star Parker did?
Yesterday We the People fired our pro-abort, pro-obamacare governor. We also fired our pro-abort rep in the House who voted for obamacare. Buh bye!
Liz, Star lost :( Last I saw she got about a quarter of the vote in her district.
We lost some but made some great pro-life gains!!! I’m very encouraged. Now, I’ve said before that politicians aren’t going to save the world (they never have) but it’s important to show the pro-abortion advocates that being pro-life is not extreme, it is mainstream. I think many pro-lifers have been complacent, sleeping bears, but they are waking up. :>)!!!
teabaggers lose in AK and DE despite (or beause) of Palin. And, Patty Murry looks like she’ll make it. Stage is set for Obama relelection. Obama 2012, let’s keep the change.
I think it’s pretty interesting to note that the Emily’s List election tracker is already down. I can’t find a trace of the election on their website. I’m guessing they’re pretty unhappy with the results, which is always great news.
–EDIT–
Nevermind… The Emily’s List site just changed again. They have their election results back up. Odd.
Hal, how can you make a statement like this when the GOP now controls the House and gained seats in the Senate? Here in PA, our normally blue state elected a Republican governor and senator. I was pleased to see three prolife women — Nikki Haley in South Carolina, Susanna Martinez in New Mexico, and Mary Falin in OK, the governorships.
Tim Scott, the prolife black Republican from SC, won. Another black Republican won, does anyone know his name?
Also was gratified to see Marc Rubio win. Some people are already calling him “El Presidente.” A bit premature, but you never know . . . he has a beautiful family and a drop-dead gorgeous wife (a former NFL cheerleader) so ladies, we don’t have a chance :-(
Phillymiss, perhaps some wishful thinking, perhaps some historical perspective. It looks a lot like 1994 to me. All the Republicans have to do is follow that script of opposing the President at every turn and Obama is a shoe-in.
Phillymiss,
You may be thinking of the great Lt. Colonel Allen West. YouTube his speeches. He’s terrific.
All the Republicans have to do is follow that script of opposing the President at every turn and Obama is a shoe-in.
Actually, the Reps own the House. They’ll be controlling the agenda and Obama will look like the non-compromising party if he blocks everything. It’s not a pretty picture for the Dems.
Obama will let the senate knock silly ideas on the head and come out demonstrating what a true statesman he is. He will be able to rise above it all, win the next presidential race and then drag the dems back into contention.
“teabaggers lose in AK and DE despite (or beause) of Palin. And, Patty Murry looks like she’ll make it.”
I wonder if the deadbeat democrats in Seattle will try to steal the election again.
“I wonder if the deadbeat democrats in Seattle will try to steal the election again.”
I have no idea what you’re talking about. (wink wink….oh no, you’re on to us….)
