A pro-life heroine herself, Monica Migliorino Miller of Citizens for a Pro-life Society will host an evening of tribute to pro-life warrior Joe Scheidler of Pro-Life Action League.

The event will be held at the Holiday Inn Mart Plaza Hotel in Chicago, on Saturday, April 2, beginning at 6p. It is open to the pro-life public. Register here through March 21. A Who’s Who of national and international pro-life leaders have signed on as co-sponsors.

Attendees are encouraged to submit written tributes to Joe (which can also serve as a promotional ad for your group or business), to be printed in the event’s program for a cost of $10. Joe Scheidler is rightfully considered the father of pro-life activism. He has inspired generations of pro-life activists, spoken around the country and the world, authored the book, Closed: 99 Ways to Stop Abortion, and produced videos featuring former abortionists who are now telling the truth about what goes on in abortion clinics.

Scheidler has defended pro-life activism before the Supreme Court, and has worked with a variety of people, from President Reagan and Pope John Paul II to the sidewalk counselors who are the unsung heroes of the pro-life movement.

Joe and his wife Ann – another pro-life heroine – have 7 children, the oldest of whom, Eric, is the executive director of PLAL.
