I couldn’t find where she had kept her baby. Excellent!!! Hallalulia! I can’t have children, so it really sets me off when I hear that people murder their own. This is wonderful about her keeping her baby :) There needs to be more American Black people keeping their babies. Besides, they are so cute :)

Notice how she made a funny little excuse, kind of defending herself by saying she must be overly fertile? I’ve done the same thing to ward off the questions and attacks of people who don’t appreciate my right to bear (children). It’s sad that having more than 2 children has become a lifestyle that we have to defend and make excuses for. Fertility- whether you have 1 child or 20- is a blessing not a curse. I think I would get more compassion if I was a drug addict than a baby addict. (My husband is my enabler! hahaha) :)
lovely – honoring the life within you! She is a lovely woman and how terrific that she is sharing that joy with her family, no matter what comments she gets from others. Good for her!
It would be a nice example if she married one of the “baby daddies,” but good for her. I always wanted to have another child, but it wasn’t meant to be.

I think the daddy is one of Bob Marley’s sons.
Don’t know if he is lying on her but I saw an article that said Marley’s son denies being the last baby’s daddy. If that is true it sounds like they recently broke up and Lauryn is off to another lover. Odds of breakups for those “shacking up” run about 80-90%. I do feel for children in these situations because they are the losers more than anyone. Odds of divorce for married couples who have remained abstinent until marriage runs about 30%. Couples who cohabit before marriage are 2X more likely to divorce than those who do not “shack up” and are more accepting of divorce. Women who cohabit are 3X more likely to “cheat” and cohabiting men are more likely to “cheat” as well, (if you want to call it that). However I don’t see taking another person on a test drive as a real commitment so it really is not “cheating” so it just goes with the territory of disposable relationships. Read Why Marriage Matters by Glen T. Stanton. I am planning to read Dr. Tony Evans new book Marriage Matters that Jill advertized on this blog last week.
