Named spokesperson of the Terri Schiavo Life and Hope Network only four months ago, country music star Collin Raye is diving right in to pro-life activism.

Raye is scheduled to perform at five pro-life events in Washington, D.C., leading up to and during the March for Life.

Raye will perform for over 2,000 college students at the annual and sold out Students for Life of America Conference on January 22.

Later that evening Raye will perform at a fundraising event for the Paul Stefan Foundation, which provides maternity homes for pregnant women in the mid-Atlantic region.

On January 23 Raye will speak in the morning at the Concerned Women for America “Celebrate Life. Embrace Grace” event and Family Research Council’s ProLifeCon. Collin will end his day by singing at the National Prolife Youth Rally.

Raye’s inspiration for involvement in pro-life work comes from his granddaughter Haley Marie Bell, who tragically died at age 10 in 2010 after suffering a lifelong terminal illness.  Raye dedicated the tender song, “She’s With Me,” to Haley…

Raye recently released a new inspirational CD, His Love Remains, which features two songs with powerful pro-life themes. Raye is donating a portion of the CD’s proceeds to the Life & Hope Network.

Welcome to the fold, Collin!
