Actor Josh Duhamel is ready for fatherhood
I’ve had full conversations with the baby already…
I’m trying my best to communicate from beyond the womb. Whether it can hear me, I don’t know, but I’m talking to it a lot….
When we saw the ultrasound, that thing was moving around a lot. So I think we are going to have our hands full.
~ Actor Josh Duhamel, husband of Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie, describing his interaction with his preborn child, as quoted by People, February 28

Come on Josh!!
“It?”
“The thing?”
At least call him or her something sweeter. :)
I graduated from the same university as Josh. So there’s that.

Yes Josh! Your baby can hear you! And you will notice that after he (she?) is born your child will be soothed by the familiar sound of your voice!

Well it’s at least nice to see that he’s talking to his baby…but i agree with Carla …we need to do away with terms like it. I will bet some Hollywood libs will try to correct him. As I’ve said before the baby is a blob of tissue if you’re. not keeping it. It’s a baby if you are. Never had a fetus shower before.

I’ve so stopped getting into the Hollywood worship these days…they do bleed red and urinate as we all do don’t they. I can have admiration for their talent but that’s it. When I find out they are misguided liberals i boycott their movies causes etc.

I’m thanking God they’re keeping their baby … and yes, Heather, me too that.

Well, at least he says baby in the first sentence.

Very sweet, but I wish he would stop calling his child “it” and “the thing”. And yes, Josh, your baby can hear your voice.

this interview sounds like after he said “the baby”, some Hollywood elite liberal stood behind him and pressed a gun to his back. XD

I still can’t remember how he pronounces his last name, so I’m as confused as he is on how to refer to his baby. ;)

It’s pronounced “Doo-Mel”, Hans.

I remember reading an excerpt from a classic in which the protagonist refers to the woman with whom he is falling in love as “the silly thing.”
