Pierson was also described by a fellow economics student as “a very opinionated Socialist.”

I hadnt heard about this but as ive said before…expect it to keep happening!!! I hope the girl he killed makes a full recovery.

Really? “Women’s Rights”? Even the crazy shooter guy uses euphemisms when supporting abortion. That’s just amazing.
Oh yeah, he’s the perfect person to quote womens‘ rights!
The “Reproductive Rights” folks believe that killing is a suitable solution to just about any problem. It is not surprising that they pick up guns to take out their frustrations.
And if his problem is that he doesn’t like Republicans, it is not surprising that he accuses them of being “killers.” It is the only hammer in his toolbox.
Why do we care about what this crazy person thinks about politics?
I do find it ironic that he’s whining about women’s rights when he shot a young woman. No hypocrisy there, crazy little shooter man.
(I hate giving these people and their words publicity because I think this encourages more people to act out like this, is anyone else ever uncomfortable at the celebrity status that these mass killers gain?)
Well if he wanted to use the Republican Party as a scapegoat, did not succeed at all. Will some dem pundits attempt to twist this facebook post and pin this incident on political ideology? I don’t thinkso. Even they know better..
I am not sure what pointing out the political views of this deranged young man accomplishes. School shooters come in all political persuasions. They have one thing in common, though — just as in Edgar Allen Poe’s poem Alone, they see a demon in their view.
Heather, I join you in wishing this young woman — who was shot point blank in the head — a full recovery and a happy life.

Because we wonder at what sort of influences seemed to be guiding his craziness. It seems that he spent a lot of time concerning himself with politics and policies, from a liberal perspective.
You can be sure that if he were a right-wing activist, his views would be plastered in the headlines. “Right-Wing Zealot Shoots Students & Self on Anniversary of Newton Massacre.”

There are MILLIONS of liberals in the country and others, and a minuscule amount involve themselves in shooting 17 year old girls in the head.

I didn’t agree with it when the Gabrielle Giffords shooter was painted as a gun nut crazy right winger, because while I might disagree with some right wing issues the VAST majority of right wingers won’t kill anyone. I think most of these shootings have to do with mental illness, not politics.
